I have 6 year old locs so I've been trying all kinds of pomades, creams and gels in my hair for years trying to find a product that wouldn't leave my hair greasy and heavy. THIS IS THAT PRODUCT! I discovered it about two years ago at a street fair in Brooklyn, NY. I only got one jar and when I used it for the first time I was upset that I didn't purchase more. I finally found it again from a street vendor in New Orleans when I visited there. I bought three jars. This stuff is great! It gives moisture, luster and sheen to my hair without making it greasy. It smells wonderful, nothing overpowering, just a natural fresh scent that lasts and lasts. My hair has never looked or felt healthier. I get compliments constantly, all because of this product.

I've been using Nature's Blessing Hair Pomade for the last 5 1/2 years on my hair and when my daughter was born I started using it on her hair. Our hair stays thick and shiny. Then, I introduced my grandma to it as a way to treat her thinning hair and it help her tremendously. This is the best thing to use on your hair if you do not want to use harsh chemicals or treat your hair from the results of harsh chemicals.

HI I FINALLY FOUND THE PRODUCT I USED IN NYC, I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO ON THE TRAIN STATION FOR $3 AND IT HELPED MY HAIR VERY MUCH, ALSO HELPED MY HAIR GROW.........ITS NOT AS GREASY AND IT MADE MY HAIR GROW AND KEPT IT IN GOOO CONDITION, I NEVER REMEMBERED THE NAME OF IT, AND COULDNT BUY IT SINCE I MOVED TO NJ AND THEN FLORIDA, ANYWAY IF IT WASNT FOR A REVIEW THAT I READ THAT THESE WERE SOLD IN NYC I WOULDNT HAVE REMEBERED THIS WAS THE PRODUCT I LOVED SO MUCH! I REMEMBER IT COMING I A GREEN GLASS JAR BUT I COULDNT REMEBER NOTHING ELSE...

ANYWAY I FOUND IT ON EBAY AND THEY SELL IT SUPER CHEAP... AMAZON IS MUCH TO EXPENSIVE ..ONE SELLER ONE EBAY SELLS 24 JARS FOR $60 PLUS FREE SHIPPING! I AM BUYING THIS LOT, BUT LOOK OBN EBAY SINCE YOU CAN PRETTY MUCH FIND GOOD DEALS ON THIS PRODUCT.

I have been wearing my hair in braids since 2000 and have been trying different products to moisturize my scalp. I started using this product a month ago after my hairstylist recommended it to me. So far it is the best scalp moisturizer I have used. It is not greasy. I don't have to put a lot on and it doesn't buildup at the roots of my hair. I really like it.

I absolutely adore Nature's Blessing Pomade. I first learned of it about eight years ago sitting in my cousin's apartment who lived in Brooklyn. She was oiling her daughter's hair and scalp.. The room was scented with an aroma that smells.. just purely African. You just want to bathe in it right?! & A man I know wears it in his hair and I always want to rub my nose in his scalp everytime I see him. I am so happy with this product. I would love to know who the makers are- there's no phone number on the jar. Does anyone know who makes it? Anyhow, peace & nature's blessings yall ... lv, shah

I have been using this for about 15 years now and I love it dearly. It makes my hair so soft and smells GREAT, even after a couple of days, unlike many other products for black hair. It's not too heavy or greasy, doesn't leave buildup on my scalp, and washes out easily. The place I usually get it from closed up shop and I'm so happy I can get it here now!!!

this is the only moisturizing product i'll use for my hair..i've been using it for years on my locs and they shine on!

consistency is light, it'll melt with body temperture. the smell is the highlight---so freshly herbal, not fruity or sweet. i always get- what's that smell? what kind of perfume are you wearing?? it really lifts your mood when you put it on....it must be all that GOOD INTENTION in the jar :)

I love this pomade so much. it really is great for my daughter's hair. i do think it was a bit overpriced on amazon because when I went to NY last month I brought it for $3 from the street vendors. That's a huge difference from the $10 bucks I spent here!

Anyway, this stuff is great for just about anything to moisturize and heal or protect. And it's all natural, too (outside of the mineral jelly, but I wouldn't worry about that, it's one of the last ingredients. I highly recommend it!

I have been using this product in my daughter's hair for the past 4 years. She is now 9 years old! This stuff is awesome..we use it as lip balm, all over body lotion, hair grease, face lotion (night), cuticle cream, foot lotion (night), I have even tried it on rashes and received results, emergency deodorant,make-up remover and just about anything thing else that I would use vaseline for..the fact that everything in the bottle is natural you really can't go wrong..it's the first natural product that is so affordable, and smells great, it's also good for dandruff and those irritable bumps you get in your scalp from hair braiding..I LOVE IT!!!

I bought this for the first time 2 years ago. It was intended for my son who was 2 years old at the time. A friend had recommended it to me because anything we had used up until this time wasn't penetrating his hair, scalp..etc. Well, he is 4 1/2 years old now and wears his hair in loc's and I'll just say we have never been without this product! It is great for the whole family and we all indulge in it! Truly a wonderful product for all hair types. They say it can be used on dry sin and chapped lips!
