Based on reviews of worm tea/worm castings on other sites I thought it would help remedy the fungus and fungus gnats living in my orchid's potting medium. I didn't want to spend a lot on product and shipping costs for something I've never used before, so I purchased Nature's Big Bud Worm Castings from Amazon. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case I got less. It is FAR less concentrated than competitive worm teas and was not effective on the fungus or fungus gnats. I re-potted the plant in sterile medium and after a few weeks fed it the worm castings - it promptly caused root rot. I have since re-potted again and stopped using the worm castings and my orchid is recovering. I would not recommend this product for use on indoor plants.

I have purchased this item twice so far, 8 gallons in total.I have used it weekly, as directed, for 4 weeks then twice per month. I use only organic products on my plants due to the beneficial effect on wildlife on my property and personal concerns re the toxicity (carcinogensesis and neurotoxicity, my concerns as a physician).

Results are spectacular with my roses, both ground-cover hybrids (Jackson and Perkins baby blanket) and traditional long-stems. I have seen more blossoms and overall healthier-appearing plants. Previously I used J&P's own Organic rose Food with inferior results.

The reason I would use this product over any other on the market though is simple. It is impossible to burn your plants with it. Whether it is used straight from the container (I use it on potted rose bush trees this way) or diluted with a hose sprayer (for the ground cover plants that line the top of a hill that runs across my property) it is impossible to damage your plants. Additional benefits from foliar feeding that are claimed include prevention of brown-spot and other fungal diseases. I would say this is accurate if you feed that way frequently.

Buy it, you will not regret it.

This product has done a remarkable job with my hibiscus. They have big, healthy leaves and the blooms are HUGE! The liquid product is much easier to apply than the big, heavy sacks full of castings I have previously been using. I use this in my gardening rotation - alternating with fish emulsion and epsom salts, but this addition has made the most difference!!

I have used Nature's Big Bud Liquid Worm Castings and have found this organic product to be excellent in all respects. My roses have flourished after I sprayed them once a week for three weeks...greener, more dense foliage, more buds, bigger more beautiful blossoms. On my hanging basket flowers I had amazing results by just spraying the leaves once per week. Also, the aphids and white flies disappeared as well as mold. My tomatoe plants have loved it and it appears I will have an excellent crop. I have people tell me they have used it in hydroponics applications and were thrilled at the results. I will try that next. I am completely satisfied with this product and will be ordering much more. No more chemicals for me! Keegan's Korner treated me well and professionally. Great service!
