this is definitely more a man's scent than for a woman, but since it does not contain aluminum, I was glad to find this. Does a better job than Toms of Maine and Arm and Hammer in terms of sweat resistance. My wife feels like its too strong a scent for her, though so I think they should consider coming out with some less manly scents for women.

I love this! I have extremely sensitive armpits! I used almay for the majority of my life and then the pits rebelled and it started irritating me. So I decided to try organic, and tried one before this one, that did nothing at all, I mean I was musty by 10am, but then I tried this spring fresh roll on, and it is the best! On busy days, mind you i live in the south, i have to reapply maybe once. I recently tried another organic deodorant b/c I have moved and my GREAT local organic store stayed, so I went to Whole Foods and picked one just to see if they are all created equal and it literally burned my arm pits! So there ya go, I now buy this in bulk and remain fresh :)

I have used this Spring Fresh roll-on for many years. Now it is harder to find. I found it on Amazon and am so very very glad! I trust they can continue to supply this product and tell the manufacturer that there are those of us that want to use it all the time. I am allergic to silver, and aluminum so this is a great product for me.

Being an avid Howard Stern fan, I tend to listen to him when it comes to products that he likes. He was searching for a deoderant that didn't contain aluminum because there are studies that link aluminum to certain cancers. He came upon Nature's Gate and was so happy that he found an aluminum free deoderant since he is very health concious. I decided to also try this product. Shortly after purchasing and using it I realized that it had no staying power for body odor. My job doesn't entail any physical labor but by the time I would get home from work I noticed that unwanted aroma wafting from my arm pits. I immediately stopped using it because I want to smell like a female, not a physical laborer. Shortly after I stopped using it, Howard starting mentioning on air that he was smelling 'a whiff' with this product and he has since stopped using it. So, this product MAY be safer to use health wise but stink-wise it doesn't cut the mustard.

I like this product, have used it for years, the convenience of ordering through Amazon keeps me a loyal customer.

This is the only 'natural' deodorant I have found that works as well as the normal (full of toxic chemicals) kind. It has a very light scent of its own, which is nice, but more importantly it keeps me from getting stinky by the end of the day. The only drawback is that it's a roll-on so you have to wait for it to dry before you get dressed. For me, it's totally worth it.

Like a lot of people I heard about this product from Howard Stern, who just loves it. I don't particularly like the idea of painting my armpits with aluminum every day, so I thought it was worth a try.

Right off the bat, this stuff is fairly strongly scented. It's not overpowering, but you'll be aware of it all day. I usually buy unscented antiperspirant, so this was a bit of an adjustment for me.

Is it effective? I thought so at first, and for the first few days it seemed to do an admirable job. But by the end of the week, I was finding myself "not so fresh" at the end of the day. Mind you, I work in a air conditioned studio all day and don't have much if any physical exertion during the course of a workday. For anybody who has a more physical job, or works outdoors or in a warm environment, this stuff simply wouldn't cut it.

I bought a few bottles, so I'll probably try using it for a few days, then alternate with my usual Almay for a day or two. At least I can reduce my aluminum exposure.

Bottom line, this product is worth a try. Keep your expectations low though.

I love Nature's Gate Deodorants. Does not break out my skin like other deodorants. Smells great.

bought this product after trying another natural deodorant. This is a great product. The last brand I tried would leave me with a terrible odor later in the day. I highly recommend this product.

Unlike another reviewer, I actually love the smell of this deodorant. However, the effectiveness is just plain awful. Under normal usage, I'm lucky if I go half the day before it's like I'm wearing nothing at all. I can't even go an entire work day without it wearing off. That's terrible. I've used Axe or Right Guard for the past 12 years or so, and they provide 24 hour protection, so I haven't smelled my armpits since I was in my teens! I honestly think this stuff might have ingredients in it that CAUSE your armpits to smell! I never, ever stink or smell, but after wearing this stuff, I smell like pure B.O. at the end of every single work day. It's incredible. This stuff is garbage! Back to Axe I go!
