I've tried most of the self-tanners out there at one time or another. I liked the effects of the Neutrogena brand and the Jergen's as well but was always put off by the odor of these cremes. I find the Nature's Gate Tanagement to have the least conspicuous odor of any of the self tanners. Not fragrance-free but not "that smell" as much as the others. I also noticed after using Tanagement twice that my skin actually felt softer which I was very surprised with because I use natural body lotions on a regular basis. The tanning effect is even and not orangey or unnatural looking but as always, you must apply with great care in order to avoid streaking. I noticed that it dries very quickly without feeling tacky and leaving a strong odor, so all-in-all this is the one I will use from now on!

Nature's Gate Advanced Care Self-tanning Creme gives you the most realistic tan you will ever have. I am in the fitness industry and do not like seeing my white legs when I am teaching a class. I use it year round. It is safe to use on a daily basis, and although a little color may come off on the inside of your clothes, it is water soluble and comes clean in the wash. It gives my legs a natural tint without streaking or looking fake. I have gotten many compliments during the winter on my "tan" legs. It's a great product! I have used more expensive "designer" products that did nothing but streak and did not look natural.

I have very pale skin naturally (English and Dutch descent) and I've tried a couple of self tanners in the past. I wanted to give this one a try since it's at least semi-organic. I used a testing spot on my chest first thankfully because it completely turned me orange. Oh well :(
