My green cheek conure has played with her former toys a bit, but the moment this went in she attacked it with a vengeance! She's been tearing at it all morning and is gleefully turning her cage into a mess, but by far it's been her favorite toy of all. It's a bit big for her, but she doesn't seem to mind as long as she's able to tear into the straw parts. If you own a bird, give this toy a chance! It's like bird-nip!

My picky pionus ignored at first, but now this is almost bare except for wood blocks. Would recommend.

My feathered friend is a 30-year-old DYH amazon. He's pretty open to new things, but has a somewhat short attention span. He'll go from one toy to another throughout the day, rarely demolishing any one thing in one go, and then later return to the toys he abandoned to play with them some more. If he was a bird who fixated on maximum destruction (as so many do) this wouldn't last 3 hours for him. But he enjoys variety and isn't quite as energetic/focused as a younger bird. This makes a nice addition to his play setup as one of *many* toys, and in that capacity in lasts him several weeks.
