This review is from: Nature's Instinct Foragewise Party Bags for Amazons and Smaller Birds (Misc.)
I recently purchased these party bags for my 8 month old cockatiel, Gideon. They come as a pack of 4 party bags, measuring 4" high by 4" across by 1.5" thick (when unfolded) and each has a different design on it. They are each threaded at the top with a single piece of thick twine which you pull open so you can put treats inside. As is common with a lot of bird toys, I believe they are a bit overpriced but if your feathered friend is entertained by them then they are worth every penny :) The 4 designs I received were 1 green bag with strips of colored paper glued to the sides, 1 yellow bag with soft colorful tissue type paper shreddings glued to the sides, 1 yellow bag that resembles a pinata :) it has 4 horizontal lines of colorful tissue type paper covering the outside of the entire bag (my favorite of the assortment), and the 4th bag (my least favorite) is blue with about 14 small star cutouts (7 each side) glued to the sides. The bags are constructed of heavy duty paper so they should last a while for persistent chewers and the bright colors will be attractive to most birds. When ordering the bags I assumed they would be smaller than they are since you are supposed to fill them with treats...just figured a bird wouldn't/shouldn't have a large amount of any treat at one time. However, since all they really are is a paper bag with some other paper glued to their exterior, I suppose you feel like you're getting more for your money with the larger size :) I filled mine with a small amount of safflower seeds, my cockatiel's favorite (and much healthier than sunflower seeds due to fat content). My bird is still quite young and hasn't really seemed to embrace his foraging abilities so he is yet to figure out there are seeds inside...but he was immediately attracted to the colors and he LOVES chewing up paper...so he immediately started in on the bag! I'm thinking about putting half of a treat stick inside to fill more space and see how that works out since it seems the small safflower seeds are much better suited for the foraging ball toys that I purchased for him (those are an absolutely wonderful toy, check them out if you are looking for something that will last with a more aggressive chewer or something that would be better for hanging in the cage with your bird...these bags, if treat-filled won't do well for that considering the treats would fall out of the bag if chewed open in the cage). All in all, these are a nice toy to change things up a bit, there are toys on the market that I think are a better value for your money. I would recommend buying the Nature's Instinct Foraging Balls over these party bags but since I already had those I'm happy to now have these to add variety to my bird's play time :)

Our bird is typically very skittish around new additions to his cage. Not these little bags. Throw in a millet spray, tie the cord, and he has hours of "foraging fun"! The picture shows all four together, but they are easy to use individually too.
