Best value for highest concentration of vitamin D-2 I can find. I'll find out if it's working when I have a blood test after a month or two to see if my levels have increased. My vitamin D level was extremely low on my last blood test. This is partially due to be being vegan/vegetarian and not getting in the sun often. But don't be quick to judge us vegans - omnivores are typically very deficient in vitamin D too! I blood test showed am a fairly healthy vegan besides this and having low good (HDL) cholesterol.

It's very important to get vitamin D for bones and immune system, among other things. Vegans and vegetarians have to be especially conscious about getting this and B12 in their diets! Vitamin D3 is not vegetarian and come from an animal source. Vitamin D2 at this dose should be a good substitute from what I understand.

Most people need vitamin D supplements, especially during the winter months. If you are a vegan vegetarian, there a precious few choices. Most vitamin D is D3 which is derived from animal sources. Nature's Life is vegan safe and the ideal daily dose. Highly recommended.

These Nature's Life D-2 Veg Capsules (2000 IU, 90 Count) capsules are under-filled. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the capsules in this bottle is missing 5% to 15%.

So, you're really getting 1700-1900 IU.

I'll finish these, but I'm going with another brand next time.
