Fantastic litter. You won't know that a cat uses your bathroom., November 20, 2005
This review is from: Nature's Miracle Odor Control Clumping Cat Litter 10-lb bag (Misc.)
I am a first time cat owner in a relatively small apartment with one bathroom. Kitty was adopted from a family who used cheap clay cat litter in her box. I could not use this as it made me sneeze and feel sick in the back of my throat. The cat absolutely hated a highly rated deodorized 'flushable' cat litter. In addition, the expensive stuff didn't stay clumped, and so the stuff broke up in the litter box, which got nasty and stayed that way. Kitty made every possible effort to avoid touching the litter and would first perch precariously on the box edge, then frantically wipe her paws on the side of the box, after the most perfunctory effort to cover up. So I got a box of NATURE'S MIRACLE next. It's made of corncobs. I have a moral objection to using cat litter made from corn or wheat, since I feel it is a sin to have animals use food as a toilet. Corncobs are all right, though; and it was claimed that the ground bits in this product were far more absorbent than the other types of litter. I was a little dubious when I smelled it... the pine fragrance is pretty strong when you open the bag,and I was worried that it would put the cat off using it. NO problem. This is outstanding. I won't go on too much longer, but when it clumps, it stays clumped; there is no odor whatever from the clumps, and everything flushes just fine; and while the cat does track a little out of the box (again when wiping her paws) it does not go far, and it does sweep up easily, as the other litters also did. I can't recommend this highly enough. What a relief.

Great Stuff, July 25, 2005
This review is from: Nature's Miracle Odor Control Clumping Cat Litter 10-lb bag (Misc.)
I used to share an apt. with a friend who had two cats. She always bought the cheapest litter, because to her - all litter is the same... And the apt always stunk of cat litter, I would keep the door to my room shut at ALL times - just to keep the scent out of my room. (Plus I am a neat freak, not quite OCD but close) So, when my husband and I just decided to get two kittens - I was concerned about the smell and the mess. Before we went and got them I started checking out different types of litter. After much research, I picked out four kinds of litter that seemed to have natural ingredients and got good reviews. I figured I would see what the pet store had first and go from there. I liked the way this litter felt in the bag - soft and small granules. So I decided to try this one first. We went and got two eight-week old kittens from the shelter and set up the house. They LOVED the litter - after three weeks we have had NO accidents in the house att all. The litter box is only about 7-8 feet from where we sleep and we don't smell anything. The Kittens love it - Everytime I finish scooping it clean they run to the box and step in it. Plus - it clumps better than the clay stuff my old roommate used to use. My scooper doesn't get chunks of stool on it and when I emptied the box last week to put in fresh litter - I didn't need to scrub the box or anything. I highly recommend this litter to anyone who has a cat. If they made stuff this good for reptiles - my dragons would have it. Now I just need to decide if I want to invest in the Omega Paw box as my second box or not?????

Look no further!, February 1, 2006

I didn't want to use clay-based litter because of the health issues associated with them so I started using another natural litter, 'Citramax', which for a while wasn't terrible but the odor was pretty bad and it wasn't a clumping litter or absorbing any moisture. If I could kiss whoever developed this litter, I would! It clumps really well, you don't have to pull out the clumps every day, it has a very light and natural scent you barely notice and my cat likes it. Plus, with the clumping, no litter goes to waste- you just shovel out the clumps and leave what is there and add new litter to it. LOVE THIS PRODUCT! (Wish I had tried it first a year ago...)
