...unless your dog likes to dig grass,
By Amanda (Warren, PA) - See all my reviews

This product works well for what its designed to do, absorb doggie mess. It has helped us train our dachshund puppy to go outside better, but there's one problem. He loves playing and digging in the grass. Therefore, he also loves digging and playing with this pad because its "grass scented". I'm sure not every dog reacts this way, but ours did. I think it helped him know to go outside when we take him out, but we'll change to just a normal pad when we run out of these, and hopefully stop some of the digging and shredding we're dealing with now.

For one reason or another, my dachshunds seem to stand with their front paws on the edge of the pads I lay down for them, and when they do their business they end up just catching the edge of the pad or marking the carpet just inches from it. I struck on the idea of using one of these pads for its strong scent attraction properties, surrounded by relatively inexpensive unscented pads (I use Prevail pads, also available on Amazon). The first time I tried this one of the dogs (I presume it was the 8 week old puppy - she's the digger) ripped the Nature's Miracle pad to shreds. However after putting these pads aside for a few weeks I tried again, and it worked. When we get home from work now the Prevail pads are soaked. Interestingly, the Nature's Miracle pad is often untouched. This is the first scented pad I've tried that my dogs are very strongly attracted to. The pads themselves are relatively small, so if you plan on using them by themselves or if you have a larger dog, you will probably end up laying down several at a time and running through them fairly quickly.

Nature's Miracle training pads are the only pad my dog will use and I've tried many. My Bijon is now over a year old and is trained to go outdoors weather permitting. But when he's left home alone he still uses Nature's Miracle. And after use there is no odor! (Not true of other brands)

I have tried many brands of dog pads. However, this brand called "Nature's Miracle" is a miracle. No more mess from excess urine!! It absorbs like no other pad! I have been sold!!

The fresh grass scent of these pads really work. When I use another popular less expensive brand my Shih-Tzu puppy will just go on the tile floor. With Nature's Miracle pads she'll sniff and go where she's suppose to. The few extra dollars spent are well worth it.

These worked great once my pup figured out what they were for. My dog didn't take them as quickly as advertised, but then, that could be my dog.
