4.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS HOW YOU USE THIS PRODUCT
Okay, so after moving into my new house I was hoping beyond all hope that my little pug wouldn't pee on the carpet. Well, here I am five months later and, low and behold, the little stinker strikes! I used to swear by this product. We had a kitten who had out-of-the-box issues, and we'd use this and the urine smell would disappear.

Well, the last bottle I bought was extremely unimpressive! I did some digging online and discovered that in 2003, Nature's Miracle decided to end their relationship with the company who created the enzyme mixture.

I guess they figured that they had so much word of mouth about how wonderful their product was that they could just sell us the name and not the actual Miracle!

So: IT used to work. Old formula would have been a 5-star review, it doesn't do nearly as well anymore. The creators of the enzymes say they're selling the original formula under the name Petastic, and I'm going to check them out.

Okay, so after moving into my new house I was hoping beyond all hope that my little pug wouldn't pee on the carpet. Well, here I am five months later and, low and behold, the little stinker strikes! So let me get to the point here. Nature's Miracle does work. However, it works at its best when used in the following manner. When your little pet strikes, take a few paper towels and GENTLY soak up as much of the pee as you can. Repeat this process with many paper towels until you have soaked up as much as you can. DO NOT RUB, DO NOT ADD WATER! Now get yourself a measuring cup, and here is why you buy the gallon sized. Pour between 6-8 ounces of the product over the spot. This is about how much pee comes out of a little dog, so you want to match that. Let the product soak in the spot and dry as long as it needs. Do not simply spray the spot, because, trust me, the pee HAS gone down to the pad, and a little spray will not do the job. Now, after the spot has dried, you may want to apply to spray, just for a little extra treatment. I had a 24 ounce spray bottle that I refilled with the gallon, but it left me with plenty to treat the problem initially the way I had described.

Buy this to get out urine, feces, and vomit stains. It also gets out food stains. The key is to Saturate! Yes, pour a Lot over the stain... I also recommend a black light to locate funky smells.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nature's Miracle, September 6, 2005
This review is from: Natures Miracle Stain and Odor Remover 128oz (Misc.)
This is the best stuff for getting rid of pet odors in the house. I've treid some of the other stuff but it was not as good. The only bad spot with this stuff is it's fairly pricy.
When you use it remember to drench the area and then let it dry completely.

4.0 out of 5 stars great for cages, November 30, 2005
This review is from: Natures Miracle Stain and Odor Remover 128oz (Misc.)
Removes odors (even strong ones) quickly. It can also be added to the laundry to remove odors or stains. I use this as a daily cleaner in my ferrets cage and litter boxes as well. Has a pleasant smell and easy to use. Just apply to stain or put into a spray bottle and apply to cage & wipe out for cleaning.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!!, January 20, 2008
This review is from: Natures Miracle Stain and Odor Remover 128oz (Misc.)
If you follow the directions it will work! First blot out the pee! Then pour in the Nature's Miracle and blot. I usually will pour more and then really rub with a rag. I put a chair or stool on top of the stain so the dog doesn't smell it. It still might smell like pee until it is completely dry. It might take a couple of days, depending on the weather. You can also put a small fan.

If you find an old stain you can pour some water on the stain and blot until your paper towels aren't yellow...Then follow with Nature's miracle. I have used this for 10+ years.. I have tried others from Pet's smart or Petco, promising that their store brand works just as great. THEY DON'T!

It even works great when your young kids get sick and throw up on the couch! The enzymes take care of the stinky smell!

5.0 out of 5 stars It truly is Nature's Miracle, September 10, 2006

Not only is this product great for removing pet stains such as urine; it has many other uses. One of our dogs went into heat unexpectedly and left stains all over the light colored carpeting while I was at work. The stains had sat there for hours and I was sure they would have set in already. I tried Nature's Miracle on the stains and they came out of the carpeting. While still in amazement that those stains disappeared, I tried this product on an old lasagne stain that was on the dining room carpeting; it took the stain out. We also use this product on heavily traveled carpet areas to pretreat the carpet before shampooing; it works great! I have also found wonderful uses for this product as a pretreatment when it comes to laundry stains. It won't remove everything, but organic stains do come out if Nature's Miracle is used before any other type of cleaning agent is used. We definitely keep the gallon sized container on hand for many household uses, in addition to pet stains.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth its weight in Gold!, April 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This truly does neutralize the smell of urine in the carpet, even old urine smells. I have a girl dog who likes to piddle (even after going out side grr) and then the boy dog has to spray over it. I don't always catch this needless to say. With the weather warming up, I have gotten sniffs of it and it drives me crazy. I bought this gallon size and poured the WHOLE GALLON over a large area that I suspected they were going. I stomped around on it with flip flops, let it soak for a couple of hours then wet vaccumed it up! I left my ceiling fan on and a small fan blowing back and forth on it. Not only did it clean great but NO MORE wafts of stinky dog piddle! This stuff is awesome! REPEAT CUSTOMER!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great for stains but not so good on odor, September 10, 2008
This review is from: Natures Miracle Stain and Odor Remover 128oz (Misc.)
I admit that this product is amazing for stains. The patches of carpet I used it on are now much cleaner than the surrounding areas. the one peeve that I have is that it does not get the urine odor out unless you totally saturate the carpet and the underlying pad (especially since my dog pees like he had just been on a beer binge during Oktoberfest). This makes absolute sense, but I end up using a LOT of the solution. One spray bottle worth only lasts me 3 pee-pee stains. Very low PPG (pee per gallon) in my book. I have had much more success with Odorzout which is a granule that wicks up all of the moisture, can be vacuumed up, and eliminates odors. All this with a lot more product to spare.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not A Miracle, October 2, 2009
This review is from: Natures Miracle Stain and Odor Remover 128oz (Misc.)
I have a dog that had decided to start urinating in spots on my floor. I didnt realize it untill I started smelling it. I bought a black light kit that had a sample of Stink-Free in it, but had heard so many great thing about Natures Miracle, I disregarded the stink free product and bought a big bottle of Natures Miracle and poured it onto the spots that I had discovered by the black light and let me tell you with in a day I walked into my apartment and it smelled horrible 10times worse like my apt was covered in urine. Mind you I had since locked my dog up in a tiled area in my apt, in which she didnt use the bathroom in my apt that day. So the stinch was Natures Miracle making the urine worse. I remembered the sample of Stink free I had and used it on a few spots and it instantly smelled better. The next day the spots that I put the Stink free on didnt smell like urine anymore, but the spots that have the Natures Miracle still smell horrible. I will be going to the store today to buy a big bottle of Stink Free and will be contacting Natures Miracle for a refund on their bad product.
