Due to a recent toxic mold exposure where I work, I have spent months researching extensively in regard to toxic mold and mold remediation. At first, there seemed to be no methods of mold remediation that could guarantee the complete removal of the many toxic mold species that exist. This book documents 20 actual successful mold remediation case studies done by Dr. Edward Close using Thieves Oil to remediate mold and offers hope to the 25% of the population adversely effected by toxic mold exposure.

Toxic mold survivors face the untold heartache of losing property, health, jobs, or worse yet, many times a lifetime of disabilities that will eventually end in a terminal illness. The sooner this product and the patented pending protocol for mold remediation outlined in this book are considered standard tools in every mold prevention and remediation project, the more lives, property and millions of dollars in liability issues will be saved.

This product and the mold remediation methods shown by Dr. Close will also take the fear out of admitting that mold does cause such extensive harm to health and property, and hopefully will enable those liable in a mold exposure situation to step forward and do the right thing rather than cover up and continue to poison people with toxic mold, which is the case more often than not.

I personally can attest to the fact that the Thieves Oil and remediation methods outlined in this book work. As after mold contamination of my SUV sent me to the ER with a life threatening anaphylaxis reaction to mold, I was unable to drive my vehicle for several months. I then used his protocol on my SUV and have been able to drive it safely and without symptoms ever since.

How do you fit the gory details of a year long battle into one short little review? Last year, we who have always been healthy started getting sick and finally discovered that we had mold in our home. toxic mold. chaetomium. second only to black mold. and it was EVERYWHERE by the time we realized it. record rains in san diego and a 60 year old home that had been fitted with airtight new windows created a fungal paradise. it was on our things as well as in the structure of the home. my children developed rashes and fevers and flus and allergies. my husband suffered recurring sinus infections. my lips and mouth would swell and itch and peel whenever i ate anything at all. we saw a doctor who put us on some metagenics pH balancing, cleansing medical food powder along with a gluten and allergen-free diet. we were only okay as long was we stayed on the strict diet so we went on to regularly see an accupuncturist too. the home insurance adjuster lied about us not having pathological organisms coverage. i argued but then read in this book that there is a national database in which ins companies keep track of your mold claims and can prevent your home from ever being insured again. i was going crazy trying to inspect and clean everything and every surface.

a leak detecion agency found nothing. a human home inspector was of no help. $550 dollars later, all he could tell us was that one corner of the home had elevated humidity levels and that there were several strains of mold spores in the air. the canine inspectors were much better and finally pointed us in the right direction. their mold dog pointed out the windows, the bathroom tile, and the wall behind the fridge. all these things were torn out before we brought them back to make sure that we had gotten it all.

during this whole process we conitnued living in the home on and off. we have no family in town and if i wasn't there working on fighting the mold, the problem was just growing worse. there are not that many books on the subject, but i finally found this title. the price is a bit steep for the highly repetitive information included, but what's $25 after you've already spent thousands?

i would have given five stars except that bulk of the book is made up of repeated information and case studies conducted by the authors themselves. when you are trying to convince someone of something, your own case studies should not be the best evidence you have. also, there is a bit of conflict of interest in the fact that the products used in the studies and promoted in the text are the same network marketing products (young living) sold by the authors. working around this, i simply concoted my own version of thieves oil from essential oils purchased from a local health foods store, and ordered a diffuser/nebulizer directly from the manufacterer (diffused world) through amazon.

diffusing this oil 24/7 for weeks on end allowed us to continue living here while the problem was not yet under control. the oil particles really do kill the mold spores and the oil in a white vinegar base became our go-to mold spray. much better than bleach or concorbium (industrial fungicide from lowe's). we had proof of the efficacy of this method after we had a second round of air samples taken after all the remoldeling. the spore count indoors was actually LOWER than the outdoor spore count!
the information in this book and the mold dog were the answers to our desperate, desperate prayers and were what finally turned the tide in our battle against mold.

I own this video and appreciate the scientific approach Dr. Close brings to the table. The material is a little dry but the fact based information is worth the viewing. I have used the products he suggests and know that my home is free of mold because of this and my family is much healthier. Thanks for putting this material together.

This book or the DVD can save your life or the life of friends and family. Mold is a silent killer, it is up to us to take care of ourselves, this book will help you do that. It tells you everything you need to know about the mold that is in all of our lives. Everywhere we go, mold is there.

This book teaches all about the different types of mold and how to kill them. We have seen the results of the applications the book teaches and they work. There is so much information in this book. it is a treasure, a guide every home should have.

I found profound and useful information in this book. If you have a mold problem, you REALLY need to read this book. It will save you a TON of money. It will increase your health... rather than have you face health risks from mold. The book has a deep scientific basis, it's clearly written, and it had specifics and details you can immediately apply to your situation. And the book is backed by over 100 other studies that have followed its publication.

In 2006 my upstairs neighbor caused a major flood that wrecked the walls and ceiling and floors of my apartment below. I knew about thieves oil and immediately got a bunch of bottles and got out my diffuser. I ran it constantly for two weeks while huge fans blew in my apartment to help dry it out (it was soaked so badly, nearly destroyed). The insurance company sent two different inspectors but could find only very low levels of spores in the walls or in the air in the apartment, way lower than out in the hallway or lobby of the building. They were baffled as to why I did NOT have a mold problem, but I knew it was this protocol and the thieves oil, both of which saved my home (and me) from what could have been a serious permanent toxic situation. I recommend this book highly.

I purchased this book because one of my best friends died from having toxic mold in her lungs. The doctors had no treatment for her that would kill the mold without killing the patient. If I had learned about the information presented in this book while she were still alive, I am certain that she would have been able to recover.

I was very intrigued by the information presented in this book. It is presented in a way for the average person to understand. The scientific information is also there to help us to validate the results as well.

I use this book very often to share with others the power of essential oils. I also share it with them so that they may realize that some of their symptoms may be a result of toxic mold exposure at some point in their lives.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has chronic sinus issues and who has had water damage in their home.

I have been sick from a bad exposure to mold and have done a lot of research on the subject since most doctors don't hardly acknowledge it as a problem. Dr Close has found the answer to mold elimination. It is not toxic either which is perfect since I'm already suffering from a reaction to a toxic substance. I use the diffuser with Thieves oil wherever I go. I had all my belongings stored in a garage that ended up turning everything into mold. The Thieves cleanser removed all the surface mold and the diffuser did the rest. I owe a lot of gratitude to Dr. Close and his associates for all the work they have done to help all of us who have suffered from mold exposure. It is also affordable. I wish they would diffuse all our schools as a precaution to illness from mold to our children. My life will never be the same although I feel like I at least have a chance now that I know what to do to make my environment safe.
