2.0 out of 5 stars Past expiration date
The cereal tastes fine. But I realized it has expiration date of April 16, 2010. Amazon, please don't send expired foods to us.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazon Shipping STALE product, July 2, 2008
I have been enjoying & purchasing Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus Multibran Cereal for over a year. When I found Amazon selling it I ordered it at a savings.

The 6 pack case Amazon sent me was stale, off color & bad tasting. When I tried to return it via Amazon's online return mechanisim I was told I could not return food products & no costomer service contact was available. As a result, Amazon has my money & I have an unusable product that is past dated & stale.

I would recommend Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus Multibran Cereal, but not from Amazon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cereal's awesome but Amazon's stock is old, March 5, 2010

After Costco stopped carrying it & I couldnt find it in any stores nearby, I started looking online to order it. I found it on Amazon & ordered the 6-pack as part of the subscription deal. Delivery was prompt and the cereal tastes awesome as expected. However, it looks to me that Amazon's inventory is quite old. The expiration of the 6 boxes was only 3 months away. And, I cant return this to Amazon either. Only option is to try to finish this in 3 months - have it for breakfast, lunch & dinner I guess.

Thats why I'm giving this 4 stars as opposed to the 5 stars the product deserves.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Cereal & Great Price, January 5, 2007

I try to start the day with a healthy breakfast. I have tried a number of selections from the supermarket, but some are just too sweet. Nature's Path has a nice collection of cereals and this is my favorite. Add some fruit and you have a great breakfast. The suprise came when I found I could order this from Amazon for less money and free shipping (needed to add something to get to $25). Life is good when UPS brings you breakfast.

I didn't think this would be very tasty considering the ingredients. It is very healthy with whole grain, flax (omega 3), and bran. To my surprise, this is very delicious. It tastes similar to Special K or Frosted Flakes (without the frosting). I will be buying this in the future.

This cereal is absolutely delicious! It even tastes good if you are eating it as chips! The multibran and high fiber content are good for your health, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic deal, March 14, 2007
This was such a great deal, 6 boxes for only $17.60! Usually one box alone is $3.99! The ordering was easy and the shipping was extremely fast-by the end of the week! The product came in great quality also. Definitely recommend ordering from Amazon!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely the best!, June 18, 2006
Imagine a healthy low calorie cereal that tastes as good as the more main stream cereals! Ever since I switched to a low fat, high nutrient diet, Flax Plus has been the standard choice with which to start the day. It's definitely great that Amazon stocks it in multipacks since quantities are usually difficult to find locally and usually at a significant markup. I strongly recommend it for those that are trying to ease into a diet regimen.
