We have used this high chair since grandbaby was five months old. He is now just over one and we have all been happy with it. There have been no problems or issues. You do have to remove the tray to put baby in and out. I think that is true of all safety high chairs. Clean up is so much easier than the chairs I had for my babies. Neutral colors are nice and suitable for boys or girls.

I searched and searched for the best high chair for my daughter and this is the one I decided on. She is 4 now and I'm giving it to my brother who is expecting his first child. When I was looking for information to send him about it I noticed some bad reviews so I thought I would chime in and say that I have nothing but good things to say about this product. It was always easy to clean, easy to move around the kitchen, and comfortable for my daughter. The flat vs curved back made it much easier for her to move her arms up and down and all around so that she could feed herself and play with little toys. The bar that goes across underneath the tray is something I liked as an added safety feature. If there was a big mess I could take the tray off and wipe it down while my daughter remained in the chair. The bar made it real hard for her to get up and jump out. One review said something about needing more padding on the sides because the baby was falling off to the side. I didn't see much point in using any high chair until my daughter was old enough to sit on her own and eat baby food vs a bottle so I don't see it as an issue.

It's cute, cleans up perfectly, has a big tray and reclines! We've never had any problems with it and the neutral colors are great!

While I like the organic fabric, and soft colors of this high chair, I think it is crazy that there isn't a way to lock the tray onto the chair. My 16 month old loves to pull the tray off, and drop it on the floor, resulting in food everywhere, and this is after we took the top tray away that she kept taking off. It is extremely frustrating, and makes every meal a bad experience. I would not recommend this chair for kids over one.

It's difficult to get your child in and out of because of the front bar (underneath the tray) and it's very hard to move around because of the inferior quality wheels.

I've got this high chair as a baby shower present and what can i say I simply love it and most importantly my v. hard to please daughter too. It was the only thing at the time went by to keep my daughter occupy. It's spacious enough to slide my daughter chubby legs in and out , she'd have plenty of space on a side. The tray is wide enough to hold not only foods but toys and with the time you can use it as a mini table so your child can enjoy playing with dough or draw the scrap books. I would disagree with a previous review about the wheels. I've never had any problems with it on either carpet or wood surface.
Also, for those who are not only after the practicality of it but design too you can't go wrong with this. Anyone who entered my house has always complemented on the chair. It looks very stylish. As for me i have not discovered any cons. It worked for me very well for 2 years. I would definitely recommended to a friend or even buy it as a gift as it's great.

I got the entire "Hug Me" line by Summer Infant for my baby because I liked the neutral colors. The whole line looks good in our house, the only problem is that it is not as functional as I would have liked. The high chair does have a harness and does recline but the harness is still too big to really hold my baby at 4 months old. Also the back of the chair is very flat (not well contoured like most other chairs) so when his body falls to the side he hits his head on the hard unpadded side rails. I am not sure why they are not padded but it is a safety issue for me. I am going to cut my losses and sell this chair and get another one but in the meantime I am using diapers over the hard side rails to pad them so he doesn't hurt himself. I also take care of a 7 month old and it is VERY hard to get her chubby little legs into the chair without hurting her.
