Based on the other review, I was a little hesitant about ordering these. But they're just normal sized capsules and nothing scary for people who take supplements regularly. Also, they are helpful in regulating appetite and providing a sense of satiety when taken with calorie restricted meals. I'm pleased with the purchase and will buy again.

I tried this product after hearing about it from my mother (a religious viewer of Dr. Oz). It asks that you take three pills approximately 20 minutes before a meal. My problem with this was that I work long hours and I don't eat at a set time every day (breakfast is usually something on the run if I eat it at all and lunch occurs whenever there's a moment for it), and I eat dinner a different time every day, so taking it 20 minutes before a meal was a pain for me. Secondly, when I was able to take it as directed, I noticed in the beginning that I was feeling fuller faster and staying fuller longer, but after going through two bottles of this and starting a third, I began to realize that I wasn't feeling quite so full anymore, as if the longer I took it, the less it worked. Not that I began overeating, but I didn't notice that 'full' feeling halfway through my meal as I did with the first two bottles. I don't know if my body got used to it or what. I think it does help give you a jump start on any diet since it helps you eat less (for awhile) but it certainly won't work forever. I say to try it, but when you notice it's making you feel full, cut your meals down to that size automatically and that's probably what you should be eating instead of bothering with these. And if you have a busy lifestyle, being able to take something 20 minutes before every meal is a hassle and probably isn't going to happen.

I have been taking Nature's Way Glucommannan before meals for several months and the Glucomannan itself has been fantastic. It has helped control my appetite and lose weight, and my LDL cholesterol dropped significantly after I started taking it.

However, Nature's Way just increased the size of the capsule from a "0" to a "00" size. It has the same dosage as before, it's just in a much larger capsule that I found significantly harder to swallow.

Because of the increase in capsule size I am going to try Soloray brand Glucomannan, which Soloray's customer service tells me is in the "0" size capsule that Nature's Way used to be. I hope Nature's Way switches back to the original capsule size.

I only took two capsules instead of the recommended dosage of three, and woke up in the middle of the night with horrible diarrhea. Maybe my stomach is just too sensitive. I might give it another try, but I definitely expected this product to be more gentle.

So far so good. Saw this product mentioned on Dr. Oz as best diet pills of 2010. Giving it a try.

First, let me say that I am one of those horrible people who will eat until they physically cannot eat anymore. I do not do it all the time but on the weekends if I am at home I will literally order a pizza and eat it throughout the day. Not smart. I am 5'6 and weigh 154-not horrible but a year ago I was 135 and healthy. I saw an infomercial for Lipozene and do not really believe in diet pills but did some research and found this product.

I have been using this for approx 3 weeks and I will tell you first hand my weekends no longer are filled with pizza pounding. I take 3 pills, individually, with a huge about 32 ounces of water. Immediately you fill a little bloated (from the amount of water I consume I suppose) but after about 10 minutes the bloating is gone. I will proceed to eat around 30 minutes later. I never ate too bad at work b/c I really don't like eating in front of people as is. But I used to eat a turkey on rye and a side of veggies/pasta and now I eat my side and a portion of the sandwich. For dinner I can have a salad and be perfectly fine.

Obviously, things work different for different folks but this is absolutely incredible. I don't know how long it will work but I did order a second bottle and get it tomorrow.

I have not lost any weight per-say but I also am walking 10 miles on the beach every Sunday and running 5 miles every night so I am assuming there is some sort of muscle gain. Bought a new scale on here that also arrives tomorrow to see if I can track the muscle to body fat ratio. When I figure out the answer I will edit my post.

I was truly excited for this product to work, did nothing. It was the equivalent of taking saw dust pills, which is a possibility of what is actually in it. Oh well, time to try something else.

I take 3 Glucomannan before breakfast, lunch and Dinner. They make me feel full, so i don't over eat. I'm not snacking at 8pm or right before i go to bed. Overall a great product for weight loss and management.

It's fiber. For those complaining about the size of the capsules, go get some kind of powder that you stir into your drink. I hate that powdery stuff. The capsules are the same size as BeneFiber pills, and most fiber supplements. I've found these to work better than most for keeping things regular, especially if you're on medication (such as pain killers) which might cause issues. Never tried them for dieting purposes or to "feel full" so I can't comment on such claims. I'm pretty sure the manufacturer doesn't make such claims either.

Like I said - it's fiber. What else is there to say?

Bought this item based on Dr. OZ recommendation. Thank goodness this item was in expensive compared to whole foods. I didn't feel the full feeling. Everyone is different. Try it it may work for you.
