I searched for an all-natural solution to my insomnia. I tried Melatonin but was burdened with CRAZY vivid dreams that woke me up through the night. I didn't want to go back to sleep! It was horrible! I was skeptical to try another all-natural solution but after a while the insomnia got to me too much and I tried Valerian root.
It's AMAZING! I slept through the night and was not groggy in the morning. I have used it off and on when my insomnia comes on strong and it works like a charm every time. Make sure you take it early enough, about 30 minutes before bedtime, and give yourself a full night's sleep. I've taken it at 1:00 or 2:00am in a pinch when I had not had sleep for several days but it was difficult to wake up in the morning--obviously because I only had 4 hours of sleep, not because of the Valerian root. I had no trouble with the taste of the capsules as some reviews stated. I'm sure the drops are much worse but these capsules completely eliminated this issue. 1 downside is that you have to take 3 capsules but that's not a big deal.
I HIGHLY recommend Valerian root capsules for your insomnia from side effects of medicine, stress, anxiety, whatever the reason. It's fabulous and it works!
