Love this stuff. Today's "aspirin" is a combination of CHEMICALS, not salicylic acid the way it was once made. It works just as good as any aspirin I've had in the past. (I don't use the chemical stuff they have on the shelves today.)

The dosage is the same as it would be for any "aspirin", today's combination of mess, or yesteryear's.

This is one of the supplements suggested by one of my best friends and it really helps keep me going. As we get older, things don't work as they used to, so we have to find out what will get us back to our old selves and not feel bad about it!

This company seems to offer the widest range of herbal supplements. The packaging is attractive, the price is usually right. I bought this as an adjunct to my natural first aid supplies, to be used for fever, aches & pains. (Originally it was for blood thinning purposes, to prevent strokes as one ages, but appears my blood is already quite thin.) Yes, I self-medicate, but intelligently- only after performing a great deal of research. The good health I enjoy in my 60's is, in my opinion, attributable to this fact; it helps if one has faith in natural remedies as opposed to much of the flim-flam of Big Pharma. My other herbal supplements are taken as needed and they really work. They are mostly ordered on Amazon from Nature's Way. So, recommended product for those who want to avoid the flim-flam (and the flim-flam's possible serious side-effects) and who BELIEVE in the cure. After all, it's been in use for centuries, unlike modern pharmaceuticals!

This is what aspirin is made from. It does what is says it will do (it really helps with pain and stiffness), BUT it can also cause internal bleeding or ulcers. I would recommend using SOMETHING ELSE for aches and pains that doesn't have those potential side effects, such as T U R M E R I C. Turmeric does the same thing but has few side effects. Turmeric can thin the blood a bit, so you want to be careful if you are already taking blood thinners or if you are pregnant, but otherwise Turmeric does the same thing as this without the worries.

If you take White Willow Bark and you get abdominal pain: STOP! If you start getting TIRED: STOP! You may have internal bleeding and not even KNOW it, which is WHY you are so tired! AVOID.

I use white willow bark extract instead of aspirin, it works well. I usually take three at a time, it takes about 30 minutes to feel anything.

We have been using willow bark for pain for a number of years. It is a great natural product that works with no side effects. If asperin intolerant do not use as willow bark is an asperin derivitive.
