Naughty was the third book of black door novels by Velvet. After reading her first two books which were sequals, they left you begging for more. I couldn't wait on Naughty to be released, but was disappointed when she decided to go a different route. Naughty is a good read, but if you have read the other two, then you know what I'm talking about. It'll be interesting to see which route she decides to go with her next novel, which I can't wait to buy!!!

The Naughty Book Club members (Naomi, Kennedy, Mira and Tyler) are each unhappy. Naomi's husband Jacob remains a player though married as he cheats with a horde of women. His sister Tyler ends her lesbian relationship with her partner and moves in with her sibling and his spouse who loathes her gay ways. Flight attendant Kennedy meets Nigel in the skies and wants him to join her in the Mile High Club. Mira finds herself attracted to Tyler although she hesitates to act on her desire.

Soon the four females and the two males will have their innermost secret revealed to each other. Each has doubts where the revelations will lead only they share in common a need for SEDUCTION, a sense of BETRAYAL and a desire to see what is HIDDEN behind their individual BLACK DOOR.

Although there are too many major players seemingly at times tripping over each other's desires, NAUGHTY is a heated erotic dysfunctional relationship drama that hooks the reader who wants to know whom will end in who's bed (and a few other spots) together. Each of the ensemble cast is fully developed with distinctive steamy personalities from rough to velvety smooth as the libido rules the roost as always when one crosses through the Black Door.

I enjoyed the first Black Door novel so I bought all the others, but this book right here was not even a 'hit and miss'..it was a 'miss and miss'. Why is this book called naughty? There was nothing naughty about it.. (shrugs). There was some suspense becuase it seemed as though a few of the characters had secrets, but then it just became sooo predictable and it wasn't as erotic as the first novel either. When I got to the end I just was staring and saying.."that's it?"..I didn't enjoy this one at all and the story line was sooo forgettable. I say borrow ths one. For the reviews that gave it five stars, they must not have read her first novel, because now THAT was fyiahhhh..not this..this was like a cold shower after a night of hot steamy loving.

This book was sooo good! I'm waiting for the next one b/c I couldn't put this one down until I was finished with it!!

I couldn't put the book down!! It's a great read from beginning to end with a plot that provides greater insight into the characters.

Love the book-

Velvet does it again with another installment of The Black Door series. We meet four new women who come together for a book club. Each woman leads a different life, with different drama, and even different sexual preferences.

Naomi has the hots for her hubby. However since she gave birth to their son, their sex life is nonexistent. Her husband simply lost an attraction. Will he ever get it back? Kennedy meets Nigel in the sky, literally. She is a flight attendant and falls in love with a mysterious frequent flyer. But is Nigel who he really claims to be? Tyler just ended a relationship and needs a break from women. However an unsuspecting twist comes along and stirs up the love lives of these women.

While the women of the book club were interesting, I was disappointed. Naughty rarely focused on The Black Door. It should have written as a stand-alone novel. If you are looking forward to reading about the other Black Door characters or the adventures that go on beyond the doors of the Black Door, this is NOT the book. If you like Velvet's writing and want a quick read over a weekend, pick it up.

When you are feeling neglected and in need of affection, most people will do what they have to do to satisfy their urges. Unfortunately, the women in the Naughty Book Club have each found that they need something more than what they are getting to find happiness.

Naomi wants more out of life than being a suburban mom and housewife. Her marriage with Jacob appears headed to no where, while the heat in their bedroom has fizzled out. Instead of feeling sorry, she considers the Black Door and what that will mean for her sexually.

Kennedy, a flight attendant, has given up on casual sex but is having a difficult time keeping the fire extinguish between her legs when she sees sexy and handsome Nigel, a regular in first class. If only he would pay attention to her, she could put the fire out that threatens to ignite every time she sees him.

Mira, a staunch conservative and business woman, has too many secrets that involve lust and sex. But keeping her wild side tamed is more than a reputation issue; it is causing problems in her relationship with Sam.

Tyler, a graphic artist, flees to live with her brother Jacob after finding her girlfriend in bed with a man. Living with Naomi, who is homophobic is one more difficult thing she has to learn to deal with while trying to get her life together.

Each of these women has their own secrets and problems that lead them to Black Door, an adult entertainment club. Although they will do what it takes to keep their secrets, their partners have secrets of their own and if revealed will threaten to destroy their relationships.

Velvet has written a fast-paced, exciting novel about four people with distinct problems that lead them all to the same place trying to find a sense of satisfaction, sexual stimulation and happiness. NAUGHTY the fourth book in the Black Door series is a very satisfying read that will leave you wanting more. The author Velvet continues to weave great story lines with interesting characters to entertain her readers. NAUGHTY is definitely a solid summer read.

Naomi, Kennedy, Mira, and Tyler are four seemingly ordinary women who all are connected to the infamous Black Door adult entertainment club. All of them keep this little known fact a secret but for how long? Naomi is a suburban housewife that can't figure out why her husband won't sleep with her. Mira is a conservative CEO of a cosmetics company whose wild side may ruin her career if revealed. Kennedy is a flight attendant that is tired of the dating game but a sexy frequent flyer in first class may be the answer to her prayers. Tyler finally comes to the realization that her long term relationship isn't as solid as she thought it was. Will the Black Door provide the answers that these women are looking for?

Naughty by Velvet is another sizzling installment to the Black Door series. Velvet once again brought another new crop of interesting characters and new situations. The Black Door club itself was actually in the background of this story rather than in the forefront like the previous novels. There's a lot more attention paid to the character's individual lives and problems than to the inner workings of the club. This gave the story a different twist. There is a lot of drama, deception and even murder in this story that will definitely satisfy readers. Of course no Velvet novel would be complete without plenty of steamy sex. By the end of this book, you get the feeling that you will definitely see these characters again. Although this is a part of a series, you can read this particular installment without reading the other ones first. Naughty is another deliciously addictive novel by Velvet.

This book was a fast read. I read it in less than a weekend. Very erotic and interesting, makes you think 'I wonder if this really happens'... and if so "Where would this be?" "What City?". The ending was weak and could have been a lot stronger. It seems like there could be a Part 2 because some story lines did not seem completed.
