More About the Author

Christine Morgan divides her writing time among many genres, from horror to historical, from superheroes to smut, anything in between and combinations thereof. She's a wife, a mom, a future crazy-cat-lady and a longtime gamer, who enjoys British television, cheesy action/disaster movies, cooking and crafts.

Her stories have appeared in several publications, including: The Book of All Flesh, The Book of Final Flesh, The Best of All Flesh, History is Dead, The World is Dead, Strange Stories of Sand and Sea, Fear of the Unknown, Hell Hath No Fury, Dreaded Pall, Path of the Bold, Cthulhu Sex Magazine and its best-of volume Horror Between the Sheets, Closet Desire IV, and Leather, Lace and Lust.

She's also a contributor to The Horror Fiction Review, a former member of the HWA, a regular at local conventions, and an ambitious self-publisher (six fantasy novels, four horror novels, six children's fantasy books, and two roleplaying supplements). Her work has appeared in Pyramid Magazine, GURPS Villains, been nominated for Origins Awards, and given Honorable Mention in two volumes of Year's Best Fantasy and Horror.

Her suspense thriller, The Widows Walk, was recently released from Lachesis Publishing, and her horror novel, The Horned Ones, is due out from Belfire in 2012.She's currently delving into steampunk, making progress on an urban paranormal series, and on a bloodthirsty Viking kick.

There was a huge uproar when the "Book of Erotic Fantasy" was announced and published. That allowed this book to fly under the radar. This is a shame, because this book is far better than its more famous cousin. This book as a real GURPS flavor to it. It covers sexuality in gaming in not just a fantasy setting, but in historical, modern, horrow, and future campaigns. The book is well crafted in that even if you are not using d20, you can easily adapt it for your setting. It does have ready made spells for d20, but this is a bonus, not something which draws away from the rest of the book. In fact, this bok is almost a lesson about sex that every teenager could gain from.

Trust me; this is a book required for any decent game library.

I bought this last week and absolutely love it. It has more gaming information about sexual encounters and items and spells etc. than I had ever imagined. The illustrations are well-done and the whole thing being written in a humorous format just makes it that much better. Most of the content (95% I'd say) is well-thought out, seriously applied "what if sex existed in role playing games" subject matter.

Taking one thing at random, the Ring of the Midwife or maybe it was called "Midwife's Ring". It 'tingles' in the presence of pregnant women (30' radius range) and if you tie a string to it and swing the ring back and forth over the pregnant woman's belly, the midwife knows the sex of the baby plus if it has any birth defects. When someone wears it while delivering a baby it adds +2 to the skill roll for delivering the baby.

Just really neat things really. STDs, spells, (Mass Arousal and Mass Satisfaction are my current favorites) and on and on and on.

I hope this company puts out (no pun intended) more books in the future. :)

Edit: I still love this book and use it for various in-game sexual encounters and subject matter. I just wanted to add that there are now many more things that can help a campaign, of any flavor, be more 'adult' in nature. If you haven't tried it, go to and check out the books for 'Hot Girls the Role Playing Game'. They have some awesome adventures that are very 'adult' themed. My current favorite is 'The Breeding Time'. It's so warped and hilariously ghastly, every evil GM with mature players should know of it.

I remember when I first found my copy of The Book of Erotic Fantasy. I remember laughing hysterically like a 13 year old who got to see his buddy's playboy for the first time. In truth I was delighted and thrilled. Not in the perverse manner you would think, But rather it was more like a reckoning. I had incorperated Sex into Dungeons & Dragons before. However, I was never sure just what skill check the player's should roll. The book of Erotic Fantasy gave me a welcomed guide for all aspects of sex and sexuality. If you are interested in Naughty & Dice or if you just want to make things more Interesting for your D&D sessions. I recommend it highly.

That being said. Naughty & Dice serves as a great companion guide. While it's not as focused as Book of Erotic Fantasy It offers more for any DM who's read The Book of Erotic Fantasy and wants more. It offers added info about some of the races, and a new playable class. I would recommend this one as well but only if you already own Book of Erotic Fantasy
