360 Love Masquerade, April 22, 2008
This review is from: Naughty Little Angel (Paperback)
Author J. Tremble tells the story of Angel, a promiscuous teenager looking for love in all the wrong places, in his third release, Naughty Little Angel. After being alienated by her estranged mother, Mariah, Angel is reared by a single, womanizing Antoine, her father-figure, for seventeen years. Believing she never received the attention she deserves, Angel begins her quest for what she believes is true love. Angel uses her body to pay for clothing, food and shelter.
After running away from home, Angel finds herself trapped in a sex ring, discovering that life on the streets is not so easy. She also discovers that the type of love she once thought she longed for comes at a very high price, one that may even cost her life. Will Angel¡Żs parents be able to save her in time? Or will a web of deception amongst friends leave everyone dead and gone?
This plot is filled with twists and turns that are sure to leave the reader wanting to know what is about to happen next. Naughty Little Angel was definitely a page-turner and I recommend this book to all the girls who are discovering their sexuality. The way the novel ends will prompt readers to think about issues such as leading by example and they are sure to evaluate possible causes and effects of living a life of promiscuity. I did note several misspellings or typos throughout and am hoping that all will be corrected in the final copy.

Naughty, Naughty Angel!, April 17, 2008
This review is from: Naughty Little Angel (Paperback)
Antoine and Mariah had been collage sweethearts until Mariah got pregnant and Antoine made it clear he didn't want anything to do with Mariah or their child. Mariah kept their daughter Angel until she decided she'd had enough of being a single mother. So twelve years ago a five year old Angel was left on her daddy's doorstep by her mother.
Variety is the spice of life for bachelor Antoine Moore, who has no intention of settling with one woman. Why should he when as a personal trainer with a rock hard body, he gets more than his share of women, and has the funds to wine and dine then all he wants! Once Angel landed at his front door it seemed his wild days would come to a screeching halt. But Antoine was determine to keep up his Mr Playboy persona and he soon realized that the "Single Father" label had the women begging to help take care of Angel and her father!
Growing up Angel was fully aware of her father's slack ways. His lack of affection and respect towards her is something that she couldn't quite understand. Talking with him and even just trying to get some fatherly attention seems to be something he could not handle.
Now seventeen and fed up, Angel decides to teach her father a lesson. She's beautiful and sexy and knows how to use what she's got. She likes and attracts older men and feels that she can handle.... but once she's thrust out onto the streets she gets a cold slap in the face of reality.
Experience the shock when Antoine gets a wake up call he is definitely not prepared for...but is it too late for him to change his ways!!!!
A sizzling story set in Miami, brought to the boiling point with author J. Tremble's toe curling sex , his "oh no he didn't" drama, and that explosive climax of an ending makes this one satisfying read!!
Deep characters such as Freddie and Mariah who were so bad but yet sooooo good they MADE this story!!
The emotional turmoil that Antoine's experiences is not to be over looked...emotionally detached males out there need to take a read of this book right here!!
I loved Antoine's reaction when he starts to realize certain things about his daughter!!
This is the third book I've read by this author and you know what they say...the third one is the charm!!!

Angel's Tilted Halo, April 22, 2008
This review is from: Naughty Little Angel (Paperback)
I really don't want to give the story away by going into too much details; but can you imagine what it's like growing up knowing that your mother doesn't love you and/or don't want anything to do with you; or a father who makes sex with different women his #1 priority? This is Angel's life. Antoine and Mariah were college sweethearts. Mariah got pregnant and Antoine made it clear he didn't want anything to do with Mariah or their child. Mariah kept their daughter (Angel) until she was five - then decided she had enough of being a single parent and drops Angel off on Antoine's doorstep. Antoine is a bachelor who has no intention of settling down with one woman. And why should he? After all, he's a handsome personal trainer with a body to die for, can have any woman he wants, and the funds to do as he pleases! And even though he has a five year old daughter to raise, Antoine is more determined to keep up his Mr. Playboy persona. And guess who's watching it all.
Angel was fully aware of her father's lack of affection and respect towards her. Talking with him or trying to get some fatherly attention was something that just wasn't going to happen. Now seventeen, Angel decides to teach her father a lesson. What's that famous saying, "monkey see, monkey do" and Angel is caught doing the do. Antoine now sees that his little angel is a very "Naughty Little Angel." Being fed up, Angel decides she can't take it anymore and does what every run-away does, hit the streets. But once she's thrust into the street life, she discovers how good she had it at home but feels there's no turning back. Angel's running away is a wake-up call for Antoine and, he finally realizes his actions and lack of attention drove her away. But is it too late to save his "Naughty Little Angel."
This was a very compelling story that every parent needs to read. As factious as the characters are, the storyline speaks volume as it relates to what happens when we neglect our kids in the ways of love, attention and respect. J. Tremble is one of my favorite authors. His description of characters and scenes are very brief (compared to other authors who take up to 4-5 pages to set a scene). I love his style of writing; it's very precise and to the point. The ending kinda indicated a sequel may be coming. If so, I can't wait. If you love a good story that has drama, humor, and steamy love scenes, paleaze go and get this book. It is money and time well spent.
