BRENDA HAMPTON HAS A FAN FOR LIFE!!,
By Chocolate (Nashville) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Two's Enough Three's A Crowd (Paperback)
Two's Enough, Three is a Crowd exceeded my expectations. I have never heard of this author before I read this book, so now I have every one of her books and am planning on reading them back to back. Everybody knows that Jalin is a true player. But not just the average oh I am lieing to keep all these women type of player, he is a player that tells you like it is and you can accept it or don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you. This book is so funny, but oh so real. It is amazing to me how women are so desperate these days that they sleep behind each other and sleep with everybody's man. But anyway, in a nutshell Jalin is a man who feels no one woman can fulfill all his many needs. But he learns some lessons about love and the heart through drama and more drama. This book is just good, that's all I can say. Ms. Hampton also has some steamy sex scenes. You definitely won't be disappointed with this book. The reviews are lot lieing to you. Go get the book ASAP.

This is hands down one of the best books I have ever read, and believe me, I've read plenty. You immediately become attached to the characters as if you know them personally. Ms. Hampton's descriptive, fiesty, erotic, yet sophisticated writing style puts many to shame. I love love LOVE this book. Kudos Ms. Hampton and keep em coming!

No Jaylin(s) for me,
By Jenny (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Two's Enough Three's A Crowd (Paperback)
One of the male characters in this book was crazy. His name is Jaylin. Now I don't like to get into details about the books that I read because I might just ruin it. But I am going to make an exception. At first I put this book on hold for like 2 months. Now I was wrong for that because this book was really good.
Jaylin is the type of man your mother warned you about. He is handsome, great career, and definitely a lovemaker. But he has a weakness for women. He dosen't know what he wants but he makes sure he keeps a woman around. Now all the leading ladies in this novel love them some Jaylin. They are all addicted to him. But Jaylin has a problem. He wants evertyone to himself and no one can stop him. Now, I know I really didin't go into details because I don't want to ruin the storyline but GO GET THIS BOOK. You will not be disapointed. I am waiting for MY way or No way (the continuing story to Two's enough) to arrive in the mail any day now.

My First Love-It sizzles up until the very end!,
By Brenda M. Hampton "Author" (St. Louis, MO United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Two's Enough Three's A Crowd (Paperback)
Two's Enough Three's A Crowd holds a special place in my heart because it was my first published novel. Jaylin Jerome Rogers, is an arrogant, conceited, wealthy and extremely sexy investment broker worth millions. Nested in his lavishing home in Chesterfield, he captures women with his charm and amazingly good looks. Although his bed is never empty, his heart is. He has very little love for the women who loves him and continues to search for the "perfect" one. When Scorpio Valentino, an attractive and seductive woman saunters into his view, she's going to offer Jaylin a life of altering changes. Her intention is to make his life a living hell, however, Jaylin is a man with a plan. His plan is certainly bound to keep you flipping the pages and wanting more.Reviewers, thank you so much for the outstanding reviews. It is my duty, if I already haven't contacted you through e-mail, to let you ALL know how much I appreciate your support. Never in my wildest dreams did I think you all would enjoy "Two's Enough Three's A Crowd," as much as I enjoyed writing it. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the sequel, My Way Or No Way is causing quite a stir as well. Don't forget to check it out, and for those who have inquired, YES...there's a final sequel to this story that I hope to release in the near future. Thanks again, and I'll continue to make sure that every novel written by Brenda M. Hampton is worth the read. God Bless!! Brenda M. Hampton (...)

WHEW!!!!!!!! MONEY, POWER, RESPECT and GOOD D***!!,
By Venessia Young "Mississippi Chocolate Chick" (Ridgeland, MS United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Two's Enough Three's A Crowd (Paperback)
Meet Jaylin Jerome Rodgers, stock broker. Tall, light-skinned, muscular build, with cat grey eyes and nine and a half inches of satisfaction for any woman who comes his way. His prerequisites for his women are: they must be FINE, look good, drive a nice car, and have a great job because he didn't work his way to the top to spend all of his hard earned money on a woman.
Jaylin had two girlfriends who knew all about each other. He was an honest man and never lied to them. Nokea was his girlfriend of nine years who was his childhood friend but she was a virgin. Felicia was his other girlfriend of four years who was a sex hungry as he was and make sure to make love to him every time she saw him. She was fine with Nokea because she knew that she was his only sex partner UNTIL Scorpio came into the picture. She was beautiful but she didn't have a nice car or a good job, but after she put it on Jaylin he moved her into his home and bought her a brand new car. Nokea and Felicia were not happy at all but neither woman wanted to lose this man. Nokea lost her virginity to him trying to hold him and ends up pregnant. There was SOOOOOO much going on in this book you WILL NOT put it down. It is hands down the best book I've read this summer. How far will a woman go to keep her man or to snag a man with money?? Sistas will wake up after reading this one.

I have to give props to Miss Hampton on her spellbounding tale of love, sex, betryal, and discovery. From one St. Louis author to another I must say you did yo' thang girl!!!
Jaylin is a man that many of us women have either known, dated, or came a cross in life. In this book he is torn between the women in his life and his on egotistocal ways. To say that this book is a page turner is only half of it.I actually stayed up until four o'clock in the morning because I didn't want to put the book down. For anyone sleeping on Miss Hampton's work I'm telling you to WAKE UP and go and cop a book immediately. Keisha Ervin Author of 'Me & My Boyfriend' and 'Chyna Black'

This review is from: Two's Enough Three's A Crowd (Paperback)
10 STARS!!! Two's Enough Three's A Crowd was every bit of a book readers dream come true. It had everything from a bunch of chaos to juicy sex scenes that kept me turning the pages for more. Who is this new author? Where did she come from? I must tell her how much sleep I lost trying to finish this novel in one day, and that I did. Then, had the nerve to pick up her other novel, How Can I Be Down? the next day and didn't get any sleep reading that one also. Both novels were worth losing sleep over because like others, I'm torn between which was the best. Her characters are genuine and truly stuck close to my heart. Book readers, or if you've never picked up a book before, you've got to read Ms. Hampton's novel. They're great and she has made a name for herself in the literary world!! ANXIOUSLY AWAITING THE SEQUEL!!

WOWWWWW. A SPECTACULAR READ!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Two's Enough Three's A Crowd (Paperback)
I am in aw after reading this novel. It was soooo good I counted the pages down as I neared the end fearing that it would all be over soon. I'm so glad that there's a sequel because I do not want to let Jaylin go. His character is the most addictive character I ever read and fiction or not, he was certainly real to me. Many women will dislike him, but I didn't blame him for anything he did. After all, we all make choices and if it's to be with a man like him, so be it. I definitely understood how the sistas got so wrapped up because he was not only wealthy but came with a package of good looks, charm, a sexy body, and attitude. Felica was a serious drama queen. I couldn't believe how scantless she was but with a man like Jaylin, who could blame her. Nokea was my girl. I loved her character because I believe most women are going to relate to her like I did. Being in love with someone for years, sometimes it's hard to let go. Scorpio, she was cool too. I hope in the sequel her seductiveness does not keep him like it did in this book. As for Stephon, who was fine as fine can get, I was disappointed how he backstabbed his cousin. I'm also looking for Jaylin to get revenge on him as well. Wrapping this up, Hampton really out did herself. I'm looking forward to reading her other novels because her style seems to be quite different from the others. The reality of them makes you feel as if you're in the movies.
