I have owned my aarondale comforter for a little over a year. I have to say that it is so soft and a perfect weight, and obviously a beautiful pattern... HOWEVER, I do not recommend washing and drying the comforter. There is not enough quilting throughout the comforter to keep the batting in place. After 6-8 washings, the batting is ruined, bunched up in places and nonexistent in other places. Also, having a difficult time with Nautica trying to replace it. I would recommend having it cleaned!

Although it doesn't say it in the product description, this King Comforter really is OVERSIZED which is perfect for our Select Comfort matress. Most duvets and comforters these days just aren't made for oversized mattresses and they end up looking sloppy. The fabric on the Nautica Aarondale King Comforter is very soft and high quality. The comforter isn't overly thick and lays nicely on the bed...great weight for winter & summer.

If you like the Ernest Hemingway look this is perfect. I have a contemporary bedroom suite and I get bored of the look sometimes. This toned done the look just enough. It will go great with any color wood. I really wished they had the duvet that way I didn't have to by a whole comforter, but I don't think they are going to sell it, so don't wait.
