Nautica Men's 40Mm Double Loop Jean Belt

I have tried several types of reversable belts, brown one side and black on the other. They are handy when traveling but the connection to the swivel buckle never seems to last very long. I liked the simple design of these belts and ordered one brown and one black belt. While I have only been using them for about 2 months, the leather is good quality and looks like it will last a long time. Notice the rounded shape at corners and slight revers bend in the buckle. I find this to be more comfortable than some other belts.

Now this is one heavy duty belt... I'm sure you can pull that trailer behind your car with it. But seriously, it is a nice belt, very well made but it is a little too wide (about an inch and a half) for the belt clips on my cell phone and walkman. Most belt clips have lips or claws on the end which are supposed to go around the bottom of the belt or mate with each other to securely hold your device. Depending on the design of your device's belt clip, it may not be securely held in place.

This is a very nice looking belt. And it seems very well made. But the extra loop often interferes with the first belt loop on my jeans causing the belt buckle to sit slightly off center. The problem is not so bad that I'm going to return the belt, but I wouldn't buy it again.

This is an attractive belt made with first class materials. I would have rated it a "5" except that, a month after I began wearing it, the stitching that kept the belt wrapped around the buckle came undone at the top. I resewed it myself and the belt is working fine.

Instead of stitching, rivets or a snap would have been a better choice.

This belt is a nice belt, except for the way the buckle and belt loops are attached. You can't see it in the picture, but the buckle and the belt loops are held to the belt by a heavy thread that holds the belt return (the leather runs thru the buckle then back behind the main belt). This return is held together by a heavy thread - sort of a stupid way of doing this. The belt lasted only a couple of months before the thread gave way, leaving me a very nice looking, but non-functional belt. The return could have been riveted or screwed to a metal bar as other belts do.

I wouldn't spend my money on this belt.

What can a guy say about belts? It's well made, comfortable and good looking. Highly recommend it!
