I bought this watch b/c I wanted a white watch & already had another diving watch I use regularly. Turns but, though, I can see this dial on this watch better than my $400 Citizen! It's hard to move the timing dial, but it is movable. It certainly water resistant in a pool as I use it to time my laps. So far, the band is still very white (I have found some white bands turn yellow over time). It's a good price for the quality of watch you get. (PS...I am a woman & I like my watches bulky.)
