Nautica Tuck Dobby Window Valance

The quality of the valance is great, but the color described as "Navy" is actually more like black. I don't see any blue in it at all. I checked to make sure that the wrong one wasn't sent, but it has the code for Navy right on it. The only place I see a blue tone at all is on the Nautica button details, but they are extrememly dark as well. I am going to keep them since the postage to return would cost almost what the actual 2 valances cost.

I like these. They seem well made and nice quality. However, I was hoping for a more Fire Engine Red color and they are a deeper, more Brick Red (which might be just fine for some people, just not quite what I had in mind for my son's room). I will be keeping them though because they really are nice. They are also a bit longer than I realized so I have to mount them higher than the window or they cover a good portion of it. Also, they have very wide tabs on the back for slipping on the rod which cause them to hang funny on a skinnier rod. I'm having to be clever with cardboard tubes to take up the slack in back and keep them straight.
