From the moment I saw the slick gift packaging, I knew my new Nautica watch was going to be more than I had expected. With its yellow and black bands, it really jumped out of its display case. I'm really excited about its look with those three small round displays for day of the week, date of the month, and time in 24 hr format over the watch face. I'm a guy whose into tech so I've become used to following the time on both my notebook and smart phone. However I also wanted a sharp, macho, action-watch for both function and fashion and this really fits the bill. The two bands are so soft that I hope they'll be available in more colors. This even more than the great Swiss Army watch I bought a while back on Amazon. By the way, the directions are real easy to follow. I'm going to buy a few more to use as business gifts because the packaging makes quite a classy statement and the watch is so functional and great looking.

I like this watch and wear it a lot. It also comes with a black leather band and a tool to install it but I have kept the yellow band because I want some color in my life right now. This watch is made in China and that is a negative for me, I don't know how long it will last but it does seem to be well made.

Beautiful chic yet sport watch, i like the yellow strap, yet as soon as i got the watch changed it for the black one, so that i can use it at the office, the yellow strap is fun, but for the weekend I suppose. Love Nautica [...]

I purchased this watch only days ago and must have received one of the last ones in stock since as I write this review, Amazon is saying they're sold out and they don't know when they'll get more.

The fact that this watch sold out is no surprise. It has a handsomely designed face that is easy to read from any angle. The yellow detailing is tastefully done and the choice of two watchbands -- one yellow and one black -- is a nice feature that allows you to decide how boldly you want to play it. I opted for the black leather band myself. (The yellow band is very soft and flexible, not the stiff rubber that you typically find in synthetic watchbands.)

The watch comes in a presentation case that beautiful displays the timepiece and its extra wristband, along with a tool for swapping out the bands. The main instruction booklet is tucked into a folder on the inside of the box lid. Setting the time is very simple -- you pull the crown out to different positions and turn it in different directions to set the minutes, hours, and the settings on the three smaller dials.

The smaller dials on the watch face look great, evoking a chronograph function while not really providing one. Instead they give the day of the week, the date of the month, and the current time in 24-hour format. Personally I prefer seeing the date as just a plain number rather than having to read it off the little dial, but that's just a quibble. Another odd detail is the addition of compass points on the rotating bezel. There's no compass function for the watch, so what does Nautica expect us to do with the "NW", "SW", and "SE" markers? This, along with the fact that the crystal is made of mineral rather than sapphire, leads me to consider this more a 4-star timepiece than a 5-star.

Another point to make is that neither of the watchbands provided is very long. I happen to have a rather small wrist so the watch fits me comfortably, but for a man with a thick wrist it might be necessary to purchase yet another band because the ones provided would just be too short. Maybe the smaller band is a byproduct of the watch's "unisex" designation. Whatever the reason, I feel it important to mention since some guys might otherwise be taken by surprise.

Great price, great shipping speed. Watch looks to be flawless as expected so far, though I've never donned a nautica timepiece before. Hoping the product quality is not directly correlated to the cost!

I am so happy with my watch that I'm buying several more for holiday gifts. I have several watches and this is one of my favorites. What a fantastic value.

with this product because some how the I got it looks like a used one or what ?????????????????
