Only shoe my husband will wear,
This review is from: Nautilus Men's 1303 Slip Resistant Lace Up Hiker (Apparel)
I have the pickiest husband with work boots. This particular style is the only shoe he has worn for 3 years. They do wear out sooner than a higher end work boot like Danners, but he loves the comfort and the steel toe is necessary for work. He will wear them until they are falling apart and I have to buy him a new pair. He wears them all day even on weekends, for playing with the kids, biking, walking, and unfortunately for me, for going out on dates.

Like the fact that these are a step down from your average work boots. However they are exactly that they are great looking and comfy but there are some areas I think they were a little under cut.
-Pros 1. Great looking 2. Great comfort 3. Great laces themselves -Cons 1. A little less quality than most well known shoe brands a. lacing system - I question its durability b. rubber soles a little under cut in terms of quality In short these are good looking well thought out shoes. However I believe they cut some corners to fill the niche in the market they chose. If these were a North Face brand or Hiking shoe brand they may have used a better quality and construction of materials. But being what they are they are comfy and i like them. Just some things you have to like and some things you don't. Overall if these last a good 12 months I'd buy these again. |
