5.0 out of 5 stars Navavo Joe, August 30, 2004

I absolutely love Ennio Morricone's Spaghetti Western film soundtracks and this one is no exception. He manages to break away from the normal "Man With No Name" style by incorporating puonding drums, chanting and war cries to bring out the Native American motifs. A very tragic, yet powerful and triumphant score.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Soundtrack, October 6, 2007
This review is from: Navajo Joe (Audio CD)
I just got mine in the mail, and I must say, this is one of the most beautifully written soundtracks I own (and I own alot). The melodies are so full of emotion. The audio quality isn't as good as it could be, because it isn't digitally remastered, but it still is an awesome soundtrack. Ennio Morricone is a genius!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Morricone Western Soundtrack, But Not In Stereo !, April 21, 2010
This review is from: Navajo Joe (Audio CD)
For me Morricone's Italian Westerns are streets ahead of any in this genre.
Navajo Joe is by no means his best known work, but it has so much going for it, only to be let down due to being mono !
So if you collect everything by Morricone, go for it, just remember it may sound a bit flat !
