This is a nice case. It is hard enough, made of nice materials. It is a snug fit for my nuvi 765T. The only thing I don't like is the zipper is somewhat hard to close around the corners and you have to make some effort to align the case and the zipper so it closes. Recommended.

Update: The dimensions (outside) are 3.5" (95mm) x 5.25" (135mm) x 1.125" (30mm) NOT 6 x 1 x 8 inches!

This one was advertised to fit the 7100, its too small. It might fit a 3.5 screen though. Sorry.

I bought this item for portable storage, but it is NOT EVEN CLOSE to the description. The actual internal dimensions are 1 X 3.75 X 5 inches, so it is much smaller than advertised. Quality of construction is terrible, very uneven edges that cause it to close with difficulty, zipper is very cheap and won't last more than a dozen times of opening and closing it. The item was obviously a return, package it came in was already opened, and sender tried to cover up the evidence with "HANDLE WITH CARE" packing tape over the area where package was cut, as if that would hide the fact that it was previously opened. Overall, one of the worst purchases I've ever made. AVOID!

pros: hard case, protects navigon 7200

cons: zipper is a bit of a pain at times, and I like to keep the cloth sleeve on mine, which makes for too tight of a fit.

Been using this for about a year. My Navigon unit looks like it just came out of the box from the factory. With this case I always remember to put it away out of sight to avoid break-ins.

Exactly what I was looking for. It is a fashionable case that is extremely rigid. I have no worries about my Garmin when it's in it.

It is a great cover. it looks good and it does it job well. The only problem is that it is hard to close the zip on the corners.

I put my GPS in this case once, and only once. Getting it out, the zipper wouldn't move and eventually bent. I finally had to break open the zipper to get my GPS out. Definately try something else.

This product was not as hard a shell as I had hoped and less quality than I'd hoped. The elastic bands don't allow enough room to easily store GPS without worry of scratching screen with zipper. there could be more padding inside case for protective purposes. Still it is capable of protecting GPS from many hazzards and accidents.

The case was fairly inexpensive which was my primary motivation after plunking down $250 for the GPS unit itself.

The dimensions are accurate, and the fit is accurate without being too tight or too loose around my wide screen format unit. The "hardness" of the case also is as hoped for, and feels secure and very capable of protecting the unit under normal carrying situations.

I've used it to put in some receipts when traveling with the GPS unit, but there are no bells and whistles to accommodate other storage elements. Purely intended for the unit only. It fits well in cargo pants or coat pockets -- even back pocket of some jeans I would guess.

My one concern is the zipper. It works fine through the first month I've had it; but, it is "tight" around the three corners of the case. It makes me feel like it is stretched a bit and could become an issue with the teeth getting misaligned as you have the sensation of forcing the zipper over those corners. Can you lube a zipper?
