5.0 out of 5 stars Brings balance to mixes with goldenberries!
I've recently discovered that raw trail mixes are very satisfying and make for the best breakfasts, because I tend to work longer hours. I bought these mulberries along with the goldenberries, cacao nibs, and goji berries from the same company, along with some raw filberts and macadamia nuts; altogether they make a complex set of flavors and a fantastic mix for breakfast...

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't taste as good as other brands
I have been buying dried mulberries from a little random Turkish shop semi-near me. To alleviate the hassle of biking there, I thought I'd try buying these off amazon. I was disappointed with the quality. They don't taste nearly as good. These might be for you if you've never tried another brand of dried mulberry, but if you're used to something better, this product just...

I've recently discovered that raw trail mixes are very satisfying and make for the best breakfasts, because I tend to work longer hours. I bought these mulberries along with the goldenberries, cacao nibs, and goji berries from the same company, along with some raw filberts and macadamia nuts; altogether they make a complex set of flavors and a fantastic mix for breakfast or a snack. The sweetness of the mulberries give a nice balance to the tartness of the goldenberries, and that combination goes well with that of the goji and cacao. While I do enjoy these things all on their own, they are most satisfying in a mix like the one I just described, both in terms of flavor and appeasing hunger. I will definitely buy these again!

Super high in antioxidants with the most amazing taste. Sort of like golden raisins but with more texture. Try them in oatmeal or cereal, or just out of the bag.

These mulberries are very moist and fresh, they have a sweet but mild flavor that is great for trail mix. I like to mix these with cashews, pistachios, goji berries, and chocolate nibs also made by Navitas Naturals. I haven't tried myself, but I'm sure these berries would also be good for smoothies and recipes.

Mulberries have been used for food and medicine all over the World for thousands of years. There are about a dozen different types of mulberry trees, most of them being native to Asia. These berries are very high in antioxidants and, like grapes, have significant amounts of resveratrol which studies have shown lengthens the life of fish and improve health and survival of mice on a high-calorie diet. [1]

Mulberry fruit has also been used traditionally in the treatment of gout and high cholesterol. Recent studies also show mulberries to have neuroprotective effects. [2]

Amazon has removed my reference links for some reason. They were all from PubMed.gov which is ran by the National Institute on Health. I'll add them again but if they disappear again just know what happened to them.

I can eat dried mulberries straight out of the bag. They're slightly sweet, chewy and can be added to your cereal or oatmeal. Mulberries are an excellent way to supplement your breakfast foods with many health benefits.

I recently started getting these mullberries and this is my second bag now. I tried gogi and goldenberries prior to this, and they each have their own attributes. The mulberry, however, is by far the best. The flavor is unique and has a deep, rich sweetness. I would love to have the sugar derived from this to use in my coffee and oatmeal, yet I don't know if this is available. I do know the syrup derived from boiling the Mulberry is used in eastern countries to fight colds. My wife is from this region and says fresh mulberries are far superior to the dried variety, but I will have to take her word for it as i have never seen a fresh mulberry before.

I eat these straight out of the bag and my toddler will stuff as many as he can fit in his mouth.

They will break apart somewhat toward the bottom, where there are no more intact mulberries but just the individual buds, for the bottom 1/5 of the bag (approximately) I will just sprinkle these on my cereal, so no big problem.

I'm glad these are good for you, because I can't seem to stop eating them.

A little pricy, but delicious. I love the chewy texture. They're great in salads or just as a snack. I can't stop eating them.

The initial reaction looking at them is crusty old bits of dried up something. THe initial taste is dry and kind of like a grain but that quickly passes and then the super sweet flavor shines through. THey are all dried up but the quickly seem juicy because they are mouth wateringly good. They may even seem too sweet, they are almost like candy.

These are very good but a little bit too sweet for my taste. I thought they might be like raisins but are sweeter. I even checked the package to make sure that there was no added sugar; there was not. This is a nice healthy alternative if you crave something sweet.
