This review is from: Navy Gray: A Story of the Confederate Navy on the Chattahoochee and Apalachicola Rivers (Hardcover)
Very easy to read, Navy Gray is an incredibly informative book on a little-researched area of Civil War activity. I live in the area in which this book's events took place, and have a keen interest in 19th century history, but still learned a vast amount of new information. It is amazing to me that so much contemporary information was found concerning the CSA Navy's activities on these rivers and the people involved in it. Highly recommended to anyone seeking more information about the Confederate Navy and this little-known theater of activity.
