Great Idea.,

This review is from: Navy Lite Bundle Me - 0-12 months (Baby Product)
I love this. I don't have to worry about blankets and them falling off or even having to remeber to grab them as I walk out the door because the Bundle Me is already in the car seat, and my baby doesn't get too hot in it either.

Zippers break too easily,

I was able to use my Bundle Me Lite 3 times before washing it (according to the directions on the tag). The zippers then fell apart when I tried to put it back onto the car seat. I went to the dry cleaner/tailor and had them replace the zipper because my daughter really loves being zipped up in the sack. Zippers need to be better quality!

Zipper broke off after only 2 weeks,

I was originally very happy the baby was nice and warm, but after only 2 weeks the zipper broke off and it was impossible to fix, they need to improve the quality. Also, it shrunk after the first wash and I did follow the directions.

Zipper quality should be better,

This is a nice piece, I used it from the May thru June with my newborn in New York and it was very convenient and just warm enough for that time of year, however as soon as we tried to wash it the zippers fell apart and I had to throw it away. The company needs to improve the zipper quality.

Zips easily. Simple to remove from seat and washes well. Perfect weight for most weather. If more warmth is needed, another blanket stays put underneath top layer(because baby won't kick it off).

After only one wash, the zipper broke and is completely unusable!
I did love this product, and recommended it to a pregnant friend, but it breaks too easily and is not worth the money!!!

A Must Have for Winter - Even in California,

This review is from: Navy Lite Bundle Me - 0-12 months (Baby Product)
I bought the bundle me lite for our baby boy who was born in January. We live in California, but it gets pretty chilly and rainy, so this lite version was perfect. I liked the soft cotton knit lining and the weather resistant outer cover. The best part was, I didn't have to bundle the baby up in so many garments to travel from indoors to outdoors, and the bundle me doesn't fall off or flap open like blankets would.
Unlike some of the other reviewers, we had no problems with the zippers or with the size. I think this product is a great value, and I'm buying another for a baby shower gift.

The bundle-me lite is a little thinner than we had expected, but it is a good weight for spring/fall. We did not have a problem with the zipper like the other people. It is very easy to install & made of good quality material.

As my child was due in late February and we live in Germany, which has what I consider (as a child of the Dakotas)a mild climate, I was undecided whether I needed Bundle me or Bundle me lite. I decided to get both and was glad I did as my daughter was born in late January instead in the middle of the one of the coldest spells since we've been here. I was also thrilled to discover that the bundle me and the bundle me lite have compatible zippers, so you can zip the warmer bundle me top on the cooler and less thick bundle me lite bottom, which is how we've been using it. She stays warm and comfy in our cold car and on our daily trips outside to pick up her big brother at school. I haven't had any of the mentioned problems at this point, and would consider it worth it's weight in gold to avoid the jacket/snowsuit battle, esp when they are not supposed to wear those items in the car seat. I can see no safety problem in using it as both items are no thicker than a light jacket that you would have to have on as a minimum on baby in this weather and then you would still have to be taking them baby and putting her back in the car seat every time you wanted to enter and leave the car to put on the necessary warmer clothes. A brilliant idea!

Great product for areas with mild winters...,

We purchased both the Bundle Me lite and the Original Bundle Me for our child (born 12/2003). We were living in Raleigh NC at the time and had a month of really cold weather, during which we used the heavier Bundle Me. After February rolled around we switched over to the Lite version and found it to be much more useful due to the lighter fabric. We used it until late April at least and it worked just fine with our Snugride carseat by Graco. It was not bulky and baby did not overheat.
I did not have any problems with the zipper breaking as other people have stated, but it did not get as much use as it might have in another family. I did have a more difficult time zipping the top cover completely off once or twice, but other than that it worked like a charm. |
