It would be a disservice to base your opinion on the single, one-star review. This video can be immensely helpful, especially when used in conjunction with one of Stew Smith's books. I was working through "The Complete Guide to Navy SEAL Fitness", but had trouble figuring out the swim stroke. For that alone, the video would have been worth buying. After watching, I realized that there were other exercises I thought I was doing correctly, but should be changed here and there.

Instructional guide for proper form and technique., May 28, 2006
This review is from: Navy SEAL Fitness [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The Navy SEAL Fitness video is a 30 minute instructional guide that demonstrates in detail an assortment of calisthentic exercises that include stretching, upper and lower body PT, and abdominal PT. You will learn how to crank out more pull-ups and squeeze out more push-ups. Tips for running in soft sand are discussed as well as how to swim more effectively using the combat swimmer stroke. If you are looking for a follow along workout routine then you will be disappointed. As a reference guide the video is great.
Navy SEAL Fitness is also available in a DVD format that is included with Stew Smith's excellent book, The Complete Guide to Navy SEAL Fitness. This price saving combo can't be beat. The video allows you to see first hand the exercises that are performed in the book. This is the perfect way to ensure that proper form and technique are followed.
