unit would not play a self-made audio dvd properly by the volume changing to high and low on each track, although I tested that same audio dvd on my pc and dvd player hooked up to my tv and it played perfect. when I returned this defective unit back, I was told there was nothing wrong with the unit and I was charged a 20% restocking charge and I paid for the shipping back to the seller. what a ripoff !!! Im impress by all the capabilities it has like being a portable dvd player, an fm/am radio and all the inputs it has: an usb port, an sd card slot, a 3.55 mm aux out, and a mic out, it's a pretty nice boom box. Also it comes with an ac plug for the house, dc plug for the car, or you can use 8C batteries when youre on the go.

Tried to play mp3's off my USB drive, it would only read about 10% of the songs (150 of 1100 songs). I tried reformatting and putting new songs on my usb drive. Still bad. Tried a different USB drive. Same thing. So I returned it back to Amazon. I had an identical GPX stereo like this one that works just fine."

I bought this item for my dad who is about to retire so he can take it with him on fishing trips and working outdoors in the garden. Or some days he likes to sit on the porch or in the garage watching movies. He says it's great, think so too. Thanks NAXA for making his birthday that much better. Shipping was fast and the unit looks even cooler in person!

This boom box is easy to operate. The worst thing about it is CDs are treated like DVDs as far as battery life goes. I played an MP3 CD and it made the screen turn on which drained the battery life to only a few hours. Also after about 2 or 3 hours of playing the disc the boom box would shut itself down. The radio tuner worked wonderful and didn't seem to use as much juice. This was purchased for the beach and the speakers are rather weak and had to be turned all the way up. The bass boost is a joke and only made the sound horrible. It is kind of heavy to tote around. The remote worked good. I wish there was a separate DVD and CD option. The AUX option worked well. All in all this product does what it says it will do. Not extraordinary, but not too horrible overall. I was satisfied, but not impressed. It is worth the money though.
