I was a bit skeptical about getting this because it had no reviews. I purchased this for my one year old daughter. I like the fact that it could flip all the way around and down flat where she is not able to press the buttons while watching a show. I also like the fact that the edges are rounded as to pointy, the price was also a selling point for me. Only had it for bout a week, but great product so far.

This player is what I expected I would be getting...the picture quality is really clear...the swivel screen is nice...the volume level is low (even at its highest)...and the battery life will last about one and half movies...the volume and battery life are comparable to almost all other players on the market...if you can get this player pretty cheap than it's a pretty good deal...

Poor quality, only can be used for 5 months. Can't claim coz the labor guarantee is only for 90 days.

I purchased 2 of these units and both of them have failed within a couple months. One unit will error out with an "open" message and stop playback after only a few minutes. This unit was sent back to the manufacture for repair (at my expense) and came back still broken. The screen on the second unit goes completely white and only comes back on if you constantly squeeze the speakers, i suspect a poor cable connection. I have contacted the manufacture again and my only option is to ship them back (again) at my expense (again). As the shipping is about $30 round trip per unit this is not effective!

We bought these before going on vacation with our children (5 and 2) with a 12 hour car ride. We were not pleased when they stopped working before we even got out of our town!

I highly recommend staying away from these products and from the manufacturer as well.

We bought this item in May 2011 in preparation for an airplane trip with a 2 year old. It worked a total of 4 times before either the battery conked out or some other technical issue stopped it from turning on without being plugged in.

We'll probably keep it as a cheap in-car entertainment system, since we can plug it into the car charger. But I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a portable dvd player.

I bought 2 of these, one for each child. It has a great price, I love the swivel feature and battery life is pretty good. It is very sensitive to even fingerprints so you have to have clean disks. Overall I loved it great price great purchase

This is a great product for the price. It has many great features that I wanted including usb and SD card support. The built in battery holds a charge for a very long time. Also battery lasts longer than expected especially when viewing photos from sd card.
The picture quality is good. Resolution is not as good as a more expensive player, but still good enough for a portable. This player is a great value for the price paid at Amazon.

I got this specifically for the swivel screen and price. It will make traveling with a baby much more enjoyable, and he cant push the buttons. it overheats but only after being on for an extended ammount of time. Other then that it does the job I bought it to do and ya cant beat the price!!!

This DVD player refused to play any DVDs. It aborts the reading process with the "Bad Disc" message. However, the DVDs will play fine in any of my other DVD players. I would not recommend this player.

This product does not meet basic standards. The item arrived promptly with all parts. However, the DVD player instructions indicate that sometimes the volume is too low and people might be tempted to play the DVD at a volume which causes damage to the speakers and, if using headphones, to the ear drums. This should be the first clue. The volume is not just too soft, it doesn't work!! The volume for the DVD only works intermittently ... sometimes there is no sound at all. The same DVD will work perfectly in other DVD players. Also, the instructions are written by someone who does not speak English as their primary language. The directions are so unprofessional, customers will certainly not have faith in the professional quality of the item. If you purchase this product, you will have to go through the headache of getting a return label, sending it back, and ordering a different product such as Sony. Thumbs down for Naxa!!
