1.0 out of 5 stars Stupid battery hog, April 7, 2010
This review is from: Naxa NX-386 SUPER SLIM MP3/CD PLAYER WITH 120 SECOND MP3 ANTI-SHOCK, 45 SECOND CD ANTI-SHOCK AND CAR KIT (Electronics)
I have this piece of rubbish minus car kit. OK, it does play MP3s just fine. It also sucks batteries: figure ten hours max. To add insult to injury, the thing does not remember where you were when you stop the CD, nor does it remember the volume it was set at. Sony makes a splendid MP3/CD player that will run longer than the Energizer Bunny and do everything better. Any player will work with any car kit. (Might mention that I had a car kit stick in my CD player once. Unless you're broke, or the car's a junker, I'd strongly recommend getting a basic CD player/radio installed. About $200 max counting installation: they work great, recognize any format and almost certainly will have an input for other devices like ipods.) Anyway, skip this Naxa.
