I purchased the Naxa N-916 Digital Stereo Headphones expecting to get a fairly cheap set, but I was pleasantly surprised at their quality. They are extremely lightweight, which is especially impressive given their large size. I've worn them for over three hours consecutively and not experienced any discomfort. The sound is clear, but a little quieter than on my in-ear headphones. This makes it necessary to turn up the volume on some of my devices if I'm using the Naxas. On the whole, they're a good buy on a good pair of headphones.

My 17 year old originally purchased these and they were not what he wanted. He liked the sound but not the look. I have my younger kids using them in the car with the dvd player and they love them. They are very comfortable to wear and block out alot of outside sounds. My 12 year old uses them to listen to music and he loves them also. They are a good deal and a good quality but lack a little in the cool factor.

When I opened the plastic case the headphone literally came apart in my hands. One side was hanging by a wire from inside the headset & both foam coverings dropped off. I've never seen such a shoddily made product of any kind & wonder how it got such good reviews on Amazon. The headphone was unusable.

When I contacted the seller I was told they could do nothing but I had to contact Amazon custoer service.

This is a bad experience all around! I guess I should have bought a name brand set.

Looking for really cheap headphones, right? Yes, it costs only $9 bucks and they look cool (in the picture) but they sound hollow and the bass is very weak, like if you were hearing something from far, far away. Also, they creak a lot in your head and the plastic smell is strong, ughhhh! My recommendation, invest $2 more and get a Numark HF125, you'll be glad you did. The Numark sound signature is pretty decent for $11, you can not ask for more at this price range. I own hi-fi and mid-fi headphones but wanted to know how bad is the "performance" of very low priced headphones, I bought several brands below $15, now I know. Last thing, when you wear the Numark headphones you feel a lot of pressure on your ears, beware if you have sensitive ears. Excuse my English, it is my third language.

I got 2 sets of these for my girls for Christmas. One fell apart right out of the box, before she ever even put them on. The other followed suit around the 2nd or 3rd day, with VERY light use. I got a different pair for $10 that are working out great (another brand). These things are absolute garbage, and I'm just grateful Amazon has such excellent customer service, making it possible for me to return them for a refund.

The headphone was what i needed an over the ear headphone with volume control. The price that it was at was too high but the discounted price was right, the materials for the headphone seem a little cheap. As for the comfort it was alright, i had no problem wearing it more than 5 or more hours.

I use headphones from the $1 store when I watch DVD movies. I turn up the volume control on the DVD player at it's highest, yet I can barely hear the sound on some of the movie scenes; so I have to enable "subtitle" feature to fully understand the director's intent when each scene was filmed. With Naxa NX916 headphones, I only need to turn up the DVD player's volume control 50%. It seems this NX916 amplifies the sound. I have other headphones with volume control dial built into the wire between the 3.5mm input jack and headphone, but the engineers who designed NX916 had the foresight to anticipate some people might have different hearing level between their left and right ear, so they designed a separate volume control knob for each side. I've seen similar quality headphones selling for $20 and up at retail stores. Overall, the quality you get for $11 is amazing.

Let me start with this. Hearing is relative. Everybodys level of hearing is different. Exposure to loud sounds over a period of time changes your hearing. A dj needs nuance, needs alot of volume. The average person not so much. I don't understand the mind set of someone willing to pay several hundred dollars for plastic headphones. All your doing is buying the name and proving you're a sucker. These are actually the best headphones I've ever had. While they're not "super high quality" I don't need that. I have a bunch of piercings in my ears so I usually have a problem with over the ear. Not with these, they fit over the piercings no problem. The sound is good for both music and shows. To me it sounds the way it should. Pick a song that you know what it should sound like when you're trying out new headphones, for me it was marvin gaye inner city blues, these headphone made it sound right. I tried the in ear headphones that came with my brothers iphone, maybe i got a bad pair but these things were crap on a level ive never seen. The instruments sounded warped and the vocals sounded like they were a block away...I haven't had a problem with them falling off my head, only when I look straight up do they go to fall off. The cord is thicker then other headphones I've had. The plastic creeking others have mentioned, is not that bad. I had a pair of jvc that were ungodly. Im sure if i looked into it there would be a way to eliminate that entirely. All in all for eleven dollars I got a good pair of headphones that make my music sound good and my shows sound right.

Hard to complain given the low price and free shipping.
Sound is great. The headphones are not easily adjustable, so your head must be just the right size for them. Unfortunately, mine is not.
