GREAT BOOK !!! Very Well Writen, October 27, 2011
This review is from: The Nazi Legacy: Klaus Barbie and the International Fascist Connection (Hardcover)
When this Book was First Published,I purchased it, from a New York City Book Seller.I Could NOT Put it Down, reading it through in a couple of days. I know, the Book got some less than desirable ratings. And inclusive, accusations, of Nazi sympathizing, or minimizing the whole History. THIS BOOK is NOT That. In fact, it tells some True stories/Secrets, about America's Role, in the Nazi "Fall-Out", AND escapes,of Nazi Fugitives, at the war's Final months and aftermath. Also, informs the reader, in a Highly accuate, researched, and exciting way, the eventual capture, of "The Butcher of Lyon". This Book is filled with more information-written in interestingly Cohesive form- , than I've ever read. You'll see theres more to it all-this 2nd world War-, and the Popular Villians (too easily written, and too much in other Books), and they aren't the only, controllers of treachery and treason.
And for the merchants' prices, this book is going for, its more than worth a read. An addition to any serious library. The Authors-British (You Know? Who Cities were Fire Bombed[?]), are Highly intelligent investigators, prolific Authors. Which, from a base of Acedemia, is a nescessity, to understand WWII, and the many aspects that were never really brought to light,in one place.
