I had high hopes for this ebook, hoping to learn a bit about the authors Hassel and Kessler. I've been a fan of Hassel for years and have been collecting the books on and off. My knowledge about the author is limited to wikipedia, and as such know its accuracy is suspect at the best of times. When I started looking for the ebooks of Hassel's novels I came across this title. I think I read the contents in 20 minutes. The information, which is minimal at best, serves as nothing more than the sketch of what the book could be. Wikipedia-like information with a lot of the contents just images of covers and silly information about how much an original hard back is worth. I know it was the idea of the writer to include collectors titbits but I was hoping for a thorough examination of the life and work of these pulp writers. As a collector's guide the ebook format is pretty limited in the way the book is presented.
