It's a great book for a boy or girl who loves balls,

I hate to admit it, by my 18-month-old boy prefers this book to any other in his book collection. He likes "Goodnight Moon" and "Goodnight Gorilla," but he loves this book. I am ordering a new copy because the first one has worn out from use. The pictures are crisp and the text is simple for a young child. It has a fun page on counting and simple opposite concepts. It even helps mom learn some basketball stats --- like how tall Shaq is and how small Damon Stoudamire is. A drawback is your child may learn key terms like "dunk" or "dribble" before he says "mama."
