I mounted this scope on my Mosin Nagant M91-30 rifle and it greatly improved the performance. I removed the rear sight by knocking out the pins and the set screw and then knocking it off. Mine was actually soldered under the rear sight base, so heating and melting the solder would have been preferable (I had to hit the sight base pretty hard to get it off.) Then I mounted this scope on the base under the rear sight with 1" Ring - 3/8" Dovetail medium scope mounts also available on Amazon.com (NcStar mounts #RB25.) I took it out and sighted it in at 50 and 100 yards. Before I mounted this scope I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with my Mosin. After mounting and sighting it, I could place 5 shots in the circle at 100 yards with a cross wind. If you mount this scope on your Mosin Nagant M91-30 as I did, you do NOT have to replace your bolt with a bent sniper bolt and you can continue to use clips to load your gun from the top. This scope does not interfere with the action and you do not have to remove the front sight either.

I have not tested its long term durability yet, but if you don't want to pay more for a scope than what you paid for the gun, then this is the way to go.

Bought this for a scout type scope mount on marlin 336, 30-30.

Works excellent. shot 1.5 inche group at 150 yards with new leverevolution ammo. the deer better look out this year.

I put this on my Mosin Nagant M44, and it works pretty damn sexy. Easy to adjust between power (from x2 to x7), came with standard Picatinny rail mounts (low to gun mounts, so you cant see under the scope, but oh well), a shammy to wipe the lens, and see-through scope covers. An all-around great, cheap scope. This is about the best scope you could get for a pistol or scout-style rifle, for the price.

these are great scopes, I have other Popular (NAME brand) of pistol scopes also, And I can honestly say , dollar for dollar this is an outstanding scope for 1/10th the price of comparable popular(highly advertised)scopes.I even have one on a .454 casull and it holds up to the recoil.

I bought this for a Mosin Nagant rifle because I didn't want an optic that cost three time what I paid for the rifle I was mounting it on. The scope works good and has not broken after firing about 100 rounds through the rifle, which means the scope is pretty tough cause the Mosin Nagant kicks like a mule. I have noticed that it doesn't seem to hold zero for more than 20-30 rounds though. It doesn't move much but I do have to re-adjust slightly every now and again. This optic would probably work great on a smaller caliber rifle or paintball gun. If you're looking for a low cost long eye relief scope this will work for you.

I bought the NCSTAR 2-7 scope for an Encore pisotl in 22-250. The scope is very clear and the eye releif is long enough for the single shot handguns. I can see small targets at long ranges and hit them! This is a great buy. I am well pleased and will buy another one.

I mounted this scope on my AR15 and for a cheap scope it has did a great job. I like the long eye relief.

This is a superb scope for a scout setup. Bought this scope for my mosin nagant. The optics are clear and precise and the price was excellent. Would recommend this scope for anyone looking for an inexpensive long-eye relief scope.
