I got this to replace an old Bushnell tripod that has givin me many, many years of great service.

Would still be using it if a part didn't break.

The lowest Bushnell I could find was $45.00.

This NcStar looks almost the same and cost $22.00.

I figured why not try it and see how they compare.

The Bushnell is made of thicker matirial.

Slightly heaver.

But it could be because it's an older model made when things were made to last.

Both mount the scope the same way.

They are both the same size.

Both have a knob to move the picture up and down, and move up in the base for hight adjustment.

The NcStar has a knob to adjust picture from side to side.

With the Bushnell you have to loosen the locking knob, move the scope, and tighten the knob. Or you can just move the whole thing.

I've just used it five times, but so far I like it.

Time will tell how long it will last.
