Customer Reviews

I highly recommend it on your weapon.

They fit just about any major-brand scopes, and their mounts are designed for weaver rails, making this compatible with just about everything.

Unless one is trying to create a showpiece for bragging rights, these rings will do the pactical job quite well.

I used these to mount a 50mm whitetail scope on a .308 FAL. The clearance is not enough to also use the peep sight, but that's because the scope is 50mm -- a 40mm scope would have allowed me to still use the peeps.

We've put about 100 rounds downrange on two different outings after zeroing and the scope has held zero fine, so I know the rings aren't moving despite the .308 recoil.

Some people think these rings aren't solid enough but I feel they are great. Just make sure you tighten the hex screws and the mounting nuts tightly, AND make sure your rail mount is also tight. Check the fasteners periodically if you're using a high-recoil rifle.

Only complaint I have is that the hex screw sockets (the part the hex wrench fits into) aren't sturdy enough to really hold up to a lot of cranking. I noticed one of the screw sockets started rounding out and it became more and more difficult to screw or unscrew with the included wrench. If I ever have to take this scope off, I won't be surprised if have to replace one or more hex screws.

Still, a good quality product for the price and I give it 5 stars.

These scope rings are pretty decent for the money and are definitely tall. They work great on the flat top receiver of my AR. They do need lock tite to keep from loosening up. This is the first set of rings I have had to do that on. I would definitely buy another set.

Pros: Low Cost, Fit the Picatinny rail, Can use iron sights

Cons: Taller than the product description.(I measured about a 1 9/16" height)

That's a BSA Deer Hunter 3-9x50 Scope in the pictures I added. The extra, unexpected height actually helped because the big 50mm scope would have blocked the iron sights if it was the 1.4" Of course now I'll need a bigger cheek riser(home made of course)on the stock than I wanted...

These rings were just what I needed on my LR308 to mount a scope at the proper height on an A3 upper receiver. They appear rugged and clamped down tight. They also hold the scope tightly. Finish is typical post-modern, matte black "duty" look which is fine. The price is right! An extremely average product. Not great but not terrible either. If you are looking for the cheapest rings possible for your .22(or under)rifle, then this will fit the bill fine. For higher calibers, looks else where.

Does the job but machining on one was a little rough. A file took off a couple of burrs. They connected to the weaver rail very securely and held fast. Grip around the scope was tight, no room for tape but the fit was so close I didn't need any. I wanted to be able to see the open sights, but that didn't really work out. The height did move the scope up from a flat top to correct elevation though, so that works fine. All in all, these are good solid rings that hold well and have been performing as advertised. Nothing great, but nothing bad either. Good price, decent product, works well.
