I completely liked this product. I used it on my Spyder MR1, it had just the right fit on it so I didn't have to buy a rail mount, although the elevation adjustment cap is right above the pull pin cocking knob(there is a cm or smaller of room between the two). Installation was very quick and easy. The LED light is easy to see (and all lighting environments), doesn't strain the eyes, and very durable hard plastic. I bought this item for 10.99 at [...]. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a red dot.

I bought this item on August 9th, 2010. It just came today which is VERY quick since the weekend days. The item is a NcStar product, which i like a lot. It comes with a cleaning cloth, life time warranty, and an extra battery!. Over all I gave this item a five star rating because of the fast shipping, good quality, and very well packaging.

This is a quality product that surpassed my expectations. It is solid and well made, plus its inexpensive. So, if it takes a paintball to the face, i dont have to get all upset about ordering another one. Is this the best red dot sight available; no, probably not. But I'm not going to drop $150 on a sight just to have it break.

Received the NcStar Red Dot damaged. Battery holder was cracked and unit shipped with power switch on, This Red Dot is all plastic except for the mount. Even the knobs are plastic. The red dot led is not crisp and a little dimmer than a $30+ model. Was thinking of mounting on a .22? NO WAY. This is a good cheap toy for an airgun. If you want an affordable good Red Dot Get the

This is definetly a nice red dot sight. I mounted it on my airsoft m4 and it looks awesome. When looking in low-lighted rooms it gets really reflective, but I expected that. It came in one day and I ordered the cheapest shippng availible. I really don't use it much because I like my iron, or ABS plastic, sights better. If you raise up the back end in oreder to sight it in a few wires are really exposed. If you treat it good it will work well. I used it in the rain with no ill-effects. Actually a carless friend dropped my M4 while this was mounted to it and the Off/On switch came loose. But nothing some very strong, ugly, bubbly and reflective white glue can't fix. Overall if you want a cheap Red Dot this is it. The sight came with the sight itself, an extra battery and a cleaning cloth.

I ordered this to mount on a Gas Blow Back rifle, and I've had no trouble with it at all!

Excellent quality (I was expecting something chintzy) and it came in great packaging, along with an extra battery, and a lifetime warranty.

My only problem is that the lens is slightly annoying to look through, (especially with goggles on) it almost seems like it's reflecting back whatever you're looking at.

Still though, it's not a very big deal as you can accurately see what you need to see, and the red dot sticks out in the middle of it.

It has two knobs for easy red dot sighting as well! Overall, don't get a $50 Reflex Site, get this one instead!

I have read the other reviews for this and don't see how people are saying it is basically falling apart when they put it on their marker? I received it a day ago and it was delivered in excellent condition, packaging, and it came with a cloth to clean the lens, and i have seen that someone posted a comment about how it was to reflective?????? i thought the same thing when i first took it out of the box but then i realized it was backwards! so turn it around! durrrrr

Yeah it was really cheap. So I didn't expect much.
Red Dot seems like its holding for what I use it for (paintball)
But I dont think it will last long in woodsball play.
I wouldn't be surprised if it breaks on first trip out.
Cool thing was it came with two batteries, (they can cost few bucks themselves)
I wouldn't buy this again, just because I can pay a few more dollars and get something made out of metal.
BTW, when you're sighting this thing in, if you're making drastic adjustments (like I had to) the unit completely exposes its internals.
It raises in the back (where the red dot is emanating from)and all the wires and circuits can be seen.
Dirt, paint, and whos knows what-else will definitely end up in there.
I think this would be perfect for a nerf gun.

I'll also give an update after my first trip out with this red dot.

Just got back from a weekend of woodsball... red dot didn't survive... on-off switch broke off. It was fun while it lasted... about 6 hours.

this is a nice dot sight for the cost... I would recommend it. It will have a young person develop/understand how to you a sight

This sight is cheap because it's for an air gun. I would not use it on any other gun. It is only cheap plastic. It is fairly useful at aiming with an air gun although. It may need repeated adjustment if used on a gun with a lot movement.
