I bought these and as soon as I opened them, I noticed they weren't the same clips as shown in the picture. They were straight, not curved. They were so stiff you couldn't get the rounds into them, let alone get them off (I actually bent the clip getting them out). When I finally got one loaded, (they only hold 9 bullets lol) the clip itself went through the clip guide, into the gun. I'm sure that mine aren't 7.62 strippers, don't take a chance on them. Spend the extra 3 bucks and try out the UAG strippers.
DO NOT BUY THESE

I ordered these clips for my 1965 Chinese SKS. Out of 20, only one clip fit in the bolt carrier. The wolf ammo did not feed smoothly and it was much quicker to reload one at a time through the top w/o using these stripper clips. I will be looking for a different brand that fits my rifle.

These don't fit through the clip guide on my Norinco SKS. Very tight too, takes way too much force to get the rounds out.

Nothing more than stamped metal with the appearance of a stripper clip. Sure it will accept maybe 3-4 rounds max. But after that it is literally impossible to move the rounds and/or fully load the clip. Even after struggling with pliers, a screwdriver and other tools for nearly two hours I could only load ONE stripper clip with 8 rounds, starting with 4 on each side, so there is a gap in the middle...and it currently can't be unloaded. Might I add that the stripper clips comes coated in oil out of the box and they STILL are this hard to slide ammo into. Ammo is no doubt damaged as when sliding on I can see brass shaving fall off. (Seriously, cannot stress it enough how overly-tight these are).

Shame because for the price these would seem like they were worth every dime, guess not. Maybe if you have a lot of extra time to spend bending them all to work these would be cost effective. But as of now I am out of my money.

You've been warned, see the video review a few pages back on here to see exactly what I'm talking about.

i figured i was getting something totally kick ass. after buying a few old, used, and kinda rusty sks strippers at a gun show and trying them out, i instantly knew i needed more of them due to a purchase of bulk ammo. so i purchased these since the price is right. the box/packaging for them is really nice. truly a conversation piece. the oil is thin and wipes right off with a rag. i found these at a great price and bought 2 boxes of 20 stripper clips to mess with. i am attempting to use these with a RUSSIAN SKS, and they do not fit without alot of convincing. the older stripper clips i own are made of thinner metal, hold the rounds well, and slide right in. these on the other hand are made of a thicker gauge of metal, and are slightly rounder at the ends. they accept the russian ammo i bought quite well, but just will not slide in the bolt with ease. i found that pinching the ends together with some pliars, thus "kinking" the clip helps ease the stripper into the bolt guide. the clips will still hold the rounds, and this takes up any time you have to help modify and test fit.... as compared to having a well made product that is easily functional and is battlefield proven regardless of whatever goop of foriegn vaz is coating it, and spending an extra dollar.i gave it a dislike because i refuse to attempt a refund and spend more on shipping it back or trading for more of the same. i'll deal with the hand i was dealt, not bother with any other brand that re-pops them, and wait for the next gun show for surplus. lesson learned.

These clips were 48% defective. That is, I ordered 8 boxes, a total of 160 clips and then found that in the case of 78 of these, I could not slip a 7.62X39 round through. In each case of these failures, the round jammed so tightly in the clip that it was nearly impossible to finally slip it through to recover the round. You know how difficult it can be to load an SKS when the rounds do slip reasonably well through the clips. Well, the ones I am talking about would have made it impossible. I am returning the defective clips. We shall see what this outfit says about it.

I really hate outfits that use the customers as their quality control people. I am not paid to do this work for them.

FIRST OFF the whole idea of owning a sks in 7.62x39 is being able to buy cheap ammo and have an accurate gun that shoots all day . These stripper clips are junk they are a waist of money a waist of time and cannot be fixed to accept rounds . i buy cheap wolf ammo cheap tula ammo . i never even got a chance to feed them into the sks because they didn't accept 1 i kid you not 1 round of 7.62x39 ammo . look for non nc star stripper clips .

do not buy. 1/3 were so tight I could not get 10 rounds on it without an extreme amount of force and 1/3 were so lose that rounds would just fall out. I only have 7 I can use but would not trust them. I do not think it is worth the shipping cost or my time to ship them back so I am looking for better ones.
