These stripper clips don't hold the rounds like they should.
N
Even when I was able to bend the end tabs upward to contain the bullets on the clip, the bullets still managed to fall out.
darb
The metal is cheap and will bow out near the bottom of the strip, causing the rounds to just fall out.

I bought these from Amazon because they ere much cheaper than the ones found on Cheaper Than Dirt and Midway USA, but it turns out I should have gone the more expensive route. These clips have a steel strip down the center instead of a copper one, and are much, much harder to bend the tabs up and down than the good ones with copper. Every time I try to use one, I have at least one and usually two or three rounds pop off the clip as I try to load magazines. I won't be buying these again.

I went ahead and tried them in-spite of all the recent reviews warning me off. Well Like most of the recent reviews I found these stripper clips to be terrible. The are all steel including the friction plate (usually brass or copper), the steel is raw with no corrosion protection or coating of any kind. Every single one of them had to be manually adjusted to make them even kind of functional and by functional I mean barely. I was able to eventually load out 400 rounds on these clips, and will be throwing them away once they are off. Take head to the reviews on this Item. I'm sure every single one of the negative reviews were people wishing they had listened to the reviews in front of them. Lesson learned. I would not recommend to anybody.

I should have read the reviews on this before I ordered them. I thought "well its a simple little mechanism, what could go wrong?" Well I threw 5 of the 20 I ordered away because the first bend on the tab broke it off. The ones that didnt break are still weak. With 10 rounds in it it wants to drop the 1 or 2 on each end out. They just fall out sideways with nothing other than gravity. I used some channel lock pliers to try to close them up a little more and when you slide the shell to make sure it will move its too loose to hold it again. I thought it was maybe my shell casings but I got out my real deal clips that I already had and they are strong, you cant push the shells out sideways. I dont trust these things at all but since I went ahead and loaded them all up and threw the boxes away Im just gonna keep them and learn a $14 lesson. I gave NcStar one star on this one because I only needed the clip to do one thing, and it doesnt do that.

Got these hoping that they'd work but the little holder tabs broke off on nearly every one. Lucky my buddy had some good ones I could steal for our last shoot. Definitely do not recommend these.

20 stripper clips in a box and I had to adjust every one.
the sides were too wide apart and would not hold the brass.

Not worth the purchase price. Very cheaply constructed. Items break after one use. Will not bother to order item ever again.

I reload ammo and go to the range every other week. It's truly the easiest and fastest way to load 30 round mags. Loading the stripper clips is a very quick process, just don't forget to get a guide or speed loader or these things are useless.
