This is glorious heartfelt, soulful singing and playing. Mutukudzi navigates seamlessly from one song to the next. By the time you have finished listening, you have the impression of having heard one long sweet meditation on loss and redemption; while each individual song reflects the depth of his warmth and humanity. If you are looking for a timeless acoustic performance, GET THIS ALBUM!

Simple acoustic guitar, lyrics written from the passion of the soul working through the agony of loved people passing, sung by a man who's been through the suffering of Apartheid and the fire of protest. This is one of the top five of my 300 CDs and every week it gives me peace and strength. Tuku's voice is husky and rich and his guitar style simple and beautiful. Buy this CD...support music that supports freedom from tyranny.

Soulful, soulful, soulful. In 2007, my wife and I attended a Tuku concert at the Portland, Oregon zoo, in the summertime, on a hot sunny day that, with breezes and lowering sun, became an idyllic evening. The exigencies of the following day required us to leave the concert early. We had parked far from the entrance to the zoo and, to ease my wife's burden, I left her to wait for my return with our car at the gated entry to the zoo's grounds. And I walked alone uphill, through the surrounding trees, into the darkening night. And as I walked, the lyrical music and the roaring, beckoning, calling, longing, rejoicing voice of Tuku echoed, resounding through the world around me. I was filled with joy.

This is by far one of the best CD's I've ever heard. Tuku's style is absolutely amazing. His guitar and voice blend perfectly. You want to chill out sometime? Listen to this.
