One Of the Best Scary Story Collections, October 13, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Neal Shusterman's Darkness Creeping: Tales to Trouble Your Sleep (Paperback)
I read this book a few months ago when my younger sister checked it out at the library. This book is supposed to be for preteens, but I'm 16 and I loved it! The stories are well-written, thought-provoking, and very creepy. The stories not only give you a chill, they make you think more about them after reading them. It's pretty rare to find a scary story book that doesn't contain a story that I think is corny or flat-out stupid. I'd recommend this book to kids, teens, and even adults who love horror, but younger kids may find this book too scary and too hard to understand. I can't wait to read this again!

It truly did trouble my sleep!, March 30, 2006
This review is from: Neal Shusterman's Darkness Creeping: Tales to Trouble Your Sleep (Paperback)
I found Darkness Creeping sitting alone on a bookshelf in my school library in seventh grade. I picked it up when I realized it was a book of scary stories (which I love). I took it home and discovered I couldn't read the book fast enough. The stories were well-written, suspenseful, and the endings are always a surprise! This book is a good read over and over.
