Very elegant., June 22, 2000

A great recording. The remakes of "Summertime" and "'Round Midnight" are brilliant. The band plays well and plays tastefully. Nothing too abstract, but not Kenny G either. Good compositions.
Jane Ira Bloom - soprano sax, Kenny Wheeler - flugelhorn, trumpet, Julian Priester - trombone, Fred Hersch - piano, Rufus Reid - bass, Bobby Previte - drums.
