Neat-Oh! ZipBin Small Town Small Play Set

This review is after a year of use...

Pros: Great organizational product
Fun!
Inexpensive
Exterior material is durable (no rips or busting seams)
Cons:
My only con is that it is made of cardboard - The outside is vinyl but under the vinyl it is made of cardboard and if you have kids you know what this means.
Its bent out of shape, the lid barely fits on it anymore etc.
My older child has kept his in good shape but the ones for my younger child have met the fate of the garbage can.
Younger kids see 'box' and think 'stepping stool' or 'chair'
Great for older kids though!

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. He is 2 years old and facinated with cars and trucks. This car bin is his favorite and mine as well. It not only stores the little cars in little pouches in the lid but you can also store bigger cars and trucks in it as well. It is very easy to assemble back into a box when the child is done playing. Its just all around a great item.

My son has loved this and I LOVE that it is also a storage case. My only gripe is with the lid. It has spaces to put cars, but they are so tight that my 2 year old can get the cars in, but can't get them out. That makes it annoying because I'm constantly having to get them out for him. Other than that, totally worth the money!

This was my first purchase of this type of item and must say I absolutely LOVE it!!! It fits all my son's cars perfectly and it's great to zip it open into a "road"!! You can "grab & go" as it's perfect for just tossing in the car so your child has something to occupy himself on the road!!! I love this item and am now going to purchase the Dinosaur one!!!!

I got this for my boys to store & play with their massive hot wheels collection & they love it. It keeps their cars all together and is durable too.

My son loves the zip bins and I have purchased many of them. Pretty disappointed that the cover did not fit properly on the box. it makes the product look cheap.

These Zip Bins, all sizes, are a great find! The medium (or classic) size is the best for at home play. They are roomy and sturdy enough to hold a ton of accessories and the playmat is nice a big! I recommend a combination of several in this size and a few minis for travel and for when play time can't be a huge set up and clean up production. We also got the unicorn, farm and space minis, the Dino medium, the train basket and just ordered a few more!

I bought this for my 20 month old son because he loves cars. I like that the cars fit securely on the lid, which makes it great when taking places. My only complaint is that I thought it would be bigger. It is well made and other than the size is what I expected.

This is great for containing my daughter's cars & trains...unzip to play & re-zip to clean up! It doesn't get any easier than that! It's also great for taking on trips because it's lightweight. It actually holds quite a bit more than I thought it would. A couple of other people have posted that it doesn't lie completely flat--it doesn't. But if you un-zip it and place some toys on top of it, it flattens out just fine after a while. It's never stopped my daughter from having fun with it! It can be a bit cumbersome for a smaller child to zip it back up to close it, but then again I think this is really supposed to be for kids age 3 & up. Not really a big deal to me...I have to supervise clean-up anyway!

Bought this for my 2 year old grandson who loves cars. The lid has little pockets to hold cars. They are a little tight for Hot Wheels, but stretch out a bit with use. The cars that do come with this are cheap, and you can just toss them. What's awesome about it is that it opens flat to create a little "town" with roads for your little one to play cars on, and then, when it's time for clean up, it folds up so quickly and easily into a box, and they can clean up themselves by tossing in all the cars. You put the lid on, secure it, and off you go! Great handles to carry it with too! My grandson is almost 4 now, and has so many more cars, and we use this mostly for car storage and transport now, although he sometimes will use the "roads" and play. It has held up remarkably well, and it has traveled far and wide and been through some rough play. Best things about the ZipBin Small Town:

a) great to teach a young toddler "Clean Up"
b) great to get down on the floor for interactive play for parents and/or grandparents
c) AWESOME for car storage
d) almost indestructible and travels everywhere
