Step by step makes it easy,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online (Neatest Little Guide Series) (Paperback)
I've been trying to make money on the internet since 1997 and I keep falling flat. Not until this book showed me that I shouldn't be competing with the likes of Amazon.com and Yahoo did I see where I'd gone wrong. I was trying to make millions like all the magazine cover heroes. Jason Kelly teaches that instead I should be trying to make $400 to $500 every month with a website that covers my interests and sells products that relate. I can't say enough about this approach. By the end of the book, my copy was so beat up and covered in sticky notes that I could hardly read it anymore. In two weeks, I had my own website up and running and making money with free giveaways from Bach Systems, books from Amazon.com including this one, and some ads from Burst. All of these resources I found in this book with no extra garbage to wade through. Kelly gives just the sites you need and just the information you need in the exact right order. Soon I hope to start selling my own homemade products in one of the stores he recommends. I could go on forever, but I've probably already typed enough. Let me conclude by just saying that if you've been beating your head against a wall trying to figure out how the runaway web can improve your bank account, this is the book for you.

Great Value For The Money,
By "jupiter-cletus" (Boston, MA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online (Neatest Little Guide Series) (Paperback)
Succinct, informative, and well-written, The Neatest Little Guide To Making Money Online is a great value. Admittedly, I am a novice at making money online, but in my opinion this book is a great starting place. Jason Kelly loads this book with well-researched resources for all aspects of successful website development, almost always suggesting reliable FREE alternatives to the pay-for-service resources on the net. It is fun and easy to read, and it contains no filler. Recommended.

This Book is a Must Have,

This review is from: The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online (Neatest Little Guide Series) (Paperback)
I have been interested in making money over the internet and thought in order to do that you had to have something to sell. Was I ever wrong.....after reading this book I discovered that an informative web page offering links to related products is all that it takes. I am working on my own web page now and by using Jason Kelly's pointers hope I too can profit. His book is very informative and lists many sites you can go to for help and profit. If you are like me and have no idea how to get started, this book will definately get you started. It is very motivating and inspirational. My book is full of "dog ears" and has definately become my most read book.

The Neatest Book I've Read in a While,
By Shirley (St. George, Ontario, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online (Neatest Little Guide Series) (Paperback)
Jason Kelly's book The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online has been an invaluable asset to helping me to start my own on-line business. I had been wanting to have my own business for several years and didn't know where to start. Coming across his guide in a local bookstore was a stroke of luck. Here was a way to start a business almost risk free cost-wise, and it was also dependent on no one but myself. The book is geared to different levels of computer knowledge from the very beginner, to those who have some knowledge in certain areas like myself. I was able to read the intro and first chapter, skip the part about buying a computer and dive right into the software bit. Now I have a web site geared to something that I love making (Caesar Salad), and I get to use my artistic talents that I haven't known what to do with for so many years. I continually refer back to Mr. Kelly's book as a guide to see what I have to do next. I have followed his advice as to free services that have helped me to become listed with search engines and directories. Now I just have to wait and see what happens (and update my site of course). And if nothing happens it's okay because my investment has been very low-just a few dollars per month. A "neat little guide" indeed.

Steer Clear of This Junk,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online (Neatest Little Guide Series) (Paperback)
The Jason Kelly "Neatest Little Guide" franchise of books is sometimes inspired, and sometimes he just "phones it in". This book is an example of Kelly "phoning it in". Even absolute internet beginners will be scratching their heads over why there's a chapter devoted to "How to Buy a Computer". Obviously someone interested in making a website already has a computer. We're talking extreme basics here folks, and unless you've been dwelling in a cave for the last decade, you'll probably view most of this book as common sense. Sporting a 15 dollar price tag just reinforces the fact that everyone should steer clear of this book and buy their favorite CD instead.

Not Worth the Price,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online (Neatest Little Guide Series) (Paperback)
On Amazon this book will set you back nearly 15 dollars (that includes shipping and handling). And what do you get for that 15 dollars? Not a whole lot. I knew I was in trouble with this book when I noticed in the table of contents that there was an entire chapter devoted to "How to Buy a Computer". Maybe the author should've gone all the way back to "Ways to make money to Buy your own Computer". To be fair, the book does offer specific links regarding web page design and affiliates, but you can get that by going to Yahoo, for free. Save your 15 bucks.

Ok, But Hardly Comprehensive,
By
This review is from: The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online (Neatest Little Guide Series) (Paperback)
I read this book and tried to use several of his techniques on my website to increase revenue. I found that much of the information in the book was hardly innovative or ground-breaking.Jason Kelly gave a very general view of things on the internet. I do agree that it is difficult to keep up with a changing medium such as the internet by writing a book, but I have read several other books that are far more insightful and detailed. This book is rather entertaining, but if you're looking for a book to really be your guide through making money online, look elsewhere. The money paid for the book is not worth the value.

GOOD PRIMER BOOK FOR MAKING MONEY ONLINE,
By BOB MORGAN (WANNEROO, WA Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Neatest Little Guide to Making Money Online (Neatest Little Guide Series) (Paperback)
Jason's book is a good primer for making money on the Web. It covers all the basics in a very clear way. The links to on line sites he lists are also a great help to beginners. You can spend weeks or months on the web searching for the "help" and"information" sites he lists. By using all of his tips and those you pick up from the sites he suggests you visit you will make money, not a fortune perhaps but as he states it will help to pay off the car or house.A good little book well worth the money.
